He 'insulted' the ref and the Pescara defender. You're not allowed to critizise the ref's decision.

American handball will be better or american rugby!!!!!no???Yes, I'll agree football is a better name for soccer than it is for american football. If anything, american football should be called soccer, or american rugby or some shit like that.
But whatever, it's too late. Football (American) is stuck with the name now. Plus, football > soccer, so it should get first dibs on the name.

The big problem is that they refuse to use video-images during games to see wether a ref made a mistake. This often causes games to be decided by mistakes and errors. If you look at basketball or football, when a quistionable call is made they just check it out on the screen and if it's wrong it is changed. In soccer, everyone in the stadium can watch the big screen and see that for instance a player was offside, yet the ref can nnot alter his decision.

The instant replay review is one of the greatest things to happen to sports. Soccer needs to get with the times.

The arguments they give is that it takes away the authencitie of soccer, and that crooked decisions are part of the game...
... which basicly was the one argument I didn't want to hear (= total BS)

Yea I can see that. Sure it's a part of the game.....
....the worst part.
Hmmm, wait a minute. I think I already used that line in this thread...

Before rules were standardised, football was already played in many different variantions. Some moved the ball by hand, some by foot, some with a mix of both. They were all called football. One explanation for this is that it was a sport played "by foot" (by common men), as opposed to the sports played "by horse" (by the upper classes).
