Hah, I lolŽed at he people saying LB because you have to plan your players development. Jeez how hard can that be? No player in GLB can be a jack of all trades. Specializing is the way to go. Try to make a player that is good at everything and you fail at all.

With that said I personally think TEs esp receiving/balanced ones are damn hard to build. A close second gotta be FS/SS.

Sorry I couldn't really understand your post. But in defense of LBers.. you need to be solid in 8+ attributes to be a good balanced LB. Balanced TEs are hard to build as well. But how aren't LBs hard to create well?

Granted im not saying Linebackers are easy to build but if you plan a players development its not that hard since you perhaps have to be solid in 5 stats depending on your position. I disagree with your 8+ attributes. Which player do you think is going to be the most successful: a player with 20 in each of his 8+ corestats (according to you) or a player with 50 in his three primary and 10 in each of his three secondary stats? They both have skill 180 points. I know which player I would pick...

You can't think about it that way though.. The obvious answer is a player with less VERY IMPORTANT stats because of the way the two players need to be built. A LB has specific needs you have to address to make him a solid player. You can't really leave any part of his attributes unattended to. On the other hand though, some positions such as WR, QB, and CB only have a few stats that you need to attend to. It's all about the position and the number of MAJOR attributes a position has.

Well other then I SUCK at math (20x8 = 180) :/ I think we agree. What I meant with my original post was that if you want a lolb you simply dont focus on str or tackling. You focus on speed and agi as these are core stats as opposed to str and tackling for a lolb. You see where im going? Same for most versatile players - you specialize to gain an edge.

i agree with ss. he has to be able to play the run and the pass....

speed, agility, tackling, strength, vision, and they all have to be high in order to be good. i think thats why you dont see good ss's until level 14 or higher. where as a dlineman or lb can be good at 9 or 10. and qb...well thats just a fluke, you can be good or you can suck with the same build. depends more on surrounding cast i think

TE or LB. For TE's you need both a receivers and a offensive linemans skills et

I know this is a little late but I have made an extremely good TE off my first try.

TE is very easy in my oppinion.

Either safety position. People differentiate, but they essentially play the same role. They both need to provide run support and be able to cover. And they need eight (Strength, Speed, Agility, Jumping, Stamina, Vision, Tackling, Catching are all a m stats raised to be very effective on top of the SAs required for the position. That beats just about everything out there.

You don't really see those guys that can both block and receive really well .

I think WR is a tough one , needing speed and agility to get open , use vision to find the holes in the defence , jumping for the high balls , catching to get the ball of course , carrying and strength to make the YAC . And confidence if you want to make that important catch after dropping one .

You need all that AND blocking for a Tight End. Its not a matter of being equally well, just having enough points to be in that area in order to not be detriment when you're on the field. I have not seen Tight End's being split out wide yet but Tight Ends are always close to the "tackle box" and would be facing either a defensive end or a linebacker.

Right now, it's gotta be a running QB.

You'll get no argument outta me on that one.

That is a tough build, but it is even tougher considering nobody utilizes those players so it is pointless to make.

I have alot of ease and success with:
-FS
-CB
-OG
-LB
-TE

I am having alot of trouble with:
-WR
-HB

Honestly, FS isnt that hard, (speed/agility/vision) are your main attributes. Same with CB. Just alternate your 2ndary stats (FS- Tackling/jumping/Catching) (CB- Catching/Jumping/tackling).

I was trying to build a strong WR that has great hands and would be able to run over defenders...yeah...kinda sux lol..
