Yes, but that does not eliminate the need for a cap. One of the many reasons the NFL is far and away more popular than baseball now.

I wish that football had no cap...I may get my wish if the owners keep fuckin around!!!


the one thing about a team sport is that $$$ does not buy you a championship...you need chemistry in football and baseball...basketball, eh you may be able to buy a championship.


the Yankees have not won since what? 2000?

If football had no cap, it would be as boring as baseball is. With no cap in the NFL if it comes to that, expect some rough years for the NFL.

Hockey adopted a cap a few years ago and its made the league much better overall.

Cap in baseball would be great, if it was put in place in 2000. My damn A's got picked apart after that season. What's new anyways... But ya, 2000 A's were the shit... The last time i can remember the A's actually having a threatening lineup.
