Is Laredo the new Compton/SDL? I guess at least Compton were able to pull off the occasional big upset and make the playoffs 2 seasons in a row in usapl so i guess that's not fair to compton

I still don't understand how WL demotion/promotion will work now. Did a faq come out explaining everything or did bort confirm stuff? I haven't checked the WL or main forums in a long time

All that's needed is two teams like SDL and Tex Roughnecks to screw up a demotion bet, with a record bet you avoid most of that

If we discount guts, I'd be willing to do a demotion bet with these guys

It's kinda hard to not include guts/give up teams when talking about demotion because usually the teams that can't compete for the first half of the season and don't feel like planning anymore gut/give up and are demoted. It's hard not to count them since the do try for awhile but just aren't good enough.

Still though. We don't know how WL teams are demoted? I remember some people wanted all non-playoff teams demoted and bort being kinda ok with that idea. I think it'd be really lame if they demote just 1 team from each region regardless of their record (meaning a playoff usapl/cpl team potentially because they were the 4th ranked team from the region). I think high turnover would be more fun. I don't know though. You figured there would be official word on this before the season started
