See ITS for an example of what Painmaker is talking about. ITS now wants the top 4 teams from each region. However, he didn't always want that.

Which brings up another issue with the system. The leagues are not all equal. OPL, SEA, & Africa are weak. Why should a weak team from there get into the World League at the expense of a more deserving team? If you have a world league it eliminates the need to have leagues because its just one bracket that funnels the world league.

1. The rules set up now are simple and have no human-element to them. Get in the top 4 of your league and you're in. Pretty simple.

2. When you involve people picking teams, people will feel slighted and others will get preferential treatment, and crying will ensue. Does'nt take a genius to see that.

3. Everyone knows WSI is done, mostly due to Naut having a death in his family happening early this season, yet you continue to talk shit. Stay classy dude.

Just because WSI is done due to some unfortunate circumstances, doesn't give you immunity to say whatever you want about any team without hearing back from them. I respect you owner, and I expressed it in the topic about what happened to your teams. But that doesn't give YOU a free pass to talk shit on the Wolfpack whenever you want. So in short: Fuck off. You're making your team look bad.

The only thing I would like to see right now is to allow teams to opt out of the WL and pick THEMSELVES who replaces them. It would give a team like LOL who is rebuilding the opportunity to:

1. Go with the current setup and pick the next team from APL
2. Go with the "best" idea and pick WW or OFG

Obviously there would be some rules of having to advancing to the second round to get in, but it would be better then "just the next team."

Or, go with a none gutting team that just flat out doesn't want to get killed day in and day out. They can either pick the next team in their league (who will again likely get killed) or pick OFG to make the WL stronger.

Better then random, and better then automatically picking the next team in the league. Allow those owners/teams to decide. They may pick someone that isn't the best or not in their own division, but at that point no one else was guaranteed a spot so there won't be anymore crying then any other decisions.

Honestly, I don't give a fuck if we play in USA Pro, World League or some other batfuck of an organization...I'd just like to know ahead of time what the plan is. Poorly thought out plans never end well and all this World League/Pro World League Tournament fiasco wreaks of poor planning.
