IMHO CV = great guy and great owner in GLB world.

Therefor, TSE's statements will not alter my thoughts on CV.

What is more dumb, a thread that spawns stupid responses, or a thread started like this? Both prove to show that everyone involved has way too much time on their hands.

Pretty sad that this game can have an RB put up the rushing and rec'g stats that he did, the nature of the game is sad and bizarre. I did a lot more than send a PM to rig the contest. My PM to you did NOTHING to help me get the yards for the WR, it didn't gain us ANY benefit. Wait, you sent a PM to tomcollins to try to rig the final game so you could win the rec yards trophy? That's pretty sad, and just because it didn't work doesn't make it okay. It's just as slimy either way, especially as you keep trying to take some sort of "moral high ground" on why your team isn't doing well this season (roster limits too high) and then turn around and are willing to do something well outside the spirit of the game that you claim to hold in such high regard by attempting to rig the outcome of a game to win an individual trophy.

You just lost a lot of credibility in my eyes, which I suppose you don't care about. But given how much time you spend extolling your own virtues, I would think you would strive harder to uphold them.

There is no spirit to the game. Teams are taking advantage of Bort's silly rules and playing with a ridiculous roster count. That's not in the spirit of the game as far as I'm concerned. I've taken the position for the last couple seasons that as long as people aren't going to demonstrate fair play then I'm going to just for the Rec'g Yards record cause this whole game is a mockery. That's the only thing I was even trying to accomplish this season, and through any means necessary. This game is such an abortion of fair play and football and strategy and thus I'm playing for the Rec'g award. Where have you been that you didn't pick up on that previously?

Do you really think that it is fair that I can target my WR w/double targets and pass 100% of the time? How is that fair to the other WRs? If you look at ALL the things I did to manufacture getting that record, the PM to Tomcollins wouldn't even make the top 5 of things that gave me more of an advantage in getting the record over the other WRs that can't plan that way, since their world doesn't revolve around the WR yardage record like mine does. That's all I have to play for as a source for entertainment, just playing with the cards that have been dealt, and that's the only aspect of the game that I've had any interest in lately.

I'm not trying to convince anybody to hate CV, that's not my business or my priority and I have better things to do with my time then rehash the story over and over again. If it was my goal to try and sway your opinion, then I would rehash the whole story of how everything went down to show all the new people exactly what happened and why I feel the way I feel. so after wasting god knows how much time reading this thread ive come to 3 conclusions:

1. I still dont know what is going on.
2. This thread has gotten crazy
3. You clearly dont enjoy this game, so why not save the long winded, elitist, badgering for someone else and stop playing

That's why I turned over team control to so many new GMs, I figured it makes more sense to let other people have a chance to have fun with the team since I am not. It's my way of stepping down to a degree and letting others play with my team. And I'm not going to close my account because so many others still require me to follow up on helping their teams in conjunction with my strategy guide service and I'm not going to break my commitment to them on being available and prepared to help them as much as they require of me in the future.

Plus I still think GLB has potential to be a fun game again. Maybe Bort's new addition of whatever he's doing with the coaches will give me something more fun to play with. Right now there isn't much anything about the game that is fun, but that could change any given season on a few add-ons to the game. I'm just sitting idle waiting for the game to regenerate new appeal for me to play it on a competitive level. Look at how much GLB has changed since season 1, well what's going to happen come season 20? The game could be radically different from what we see now.
