So I guess it's a judgment call at that point...

That sack wasn't 1v1 I would say, but that wasn't the exploit either. He clearly fought his way between both the G and OT rather than the usual exploit where the DE comes through untouched

I would disagree there... the LOT didn't even touch him and he was in there RIGHT away... Not quite flying (like the SM game), but close.

And I just counted, they went up against each other 20 times. most of them passes.

EDIT - Although whether it's the exploit or not is debatable, it's clearly not 1v1

And to be honest, I think ANY time the DE comes between the OT-G and isn't stopped is pretty fucking messed up.
That's really why it's an exploit imho... not just because they fly through. But the vision/Oline blocking is so fucked that the G is looking at the DE & the DT so doesn't block the DE much, if at all... and the OT doesn't see the DE because they're SOOO far away...

Yeah, IMO it's no longer an exploit. It was fixed somewhere around mid-season, I think. The DE used to actually teleport through the LG, almost instantly. Now it looks like it's just that too many people ignored pass blocking for OG's. No doubt it'll end in a ton of bitching and Bort eventually nerfing DE's again, instead of making people take responsibility for their players' average builds.

Teams who have had good builds along the OL never really had a problem with giving up too many sacks.

And i seriously hope they don't nerf the DE's. They don't need it. What's needed is better O line blocking AI.

And tpat... I wasn't complaining or saying it was an exploit to blame for cheating or cheap wins or anything.
Just pointing out that it's something that needs to be fixed (improved greatly) and it doesn't fit too well with what I think would happen IRF (in real football)...
