Yeah, I posted good riddance because I have kids and that's how I feel about people like him. Again, MY opinion.

But that doesn't mean I was wishing him death. Before this news he was one of the very last people I even thought about or remotely cared about.

Lawdawg and anyone else this applies to.

Have any of you actually read the court cases on Michael Jackson? Im not trying to change your mind on the subject; I understand you have children and just the idea of a guy wanting to "sleep" with kids probably disgusts you, however, getting the facts correct and understanding the whole situation might open your closed mind on the subject.

1993: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1993_child_sexual_abuse_accusations_against_Michael_Jackson
2005: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/People_v._Jackson

Basic Overview from both:
1) Crazy people out for money
2) Rich Black/White Man with Money
b) Rich Man wants to relive childhood
3) Take advantage of Rich man and his childish ambitions
4) Use Rich man for lavish trips, payment of medical treatments and other desires
5) Cash the 'Golden Goose' by going to tabloids and then filing case
b) Ruin his reputation and you win the game

Its unbelievable how people in this thread and several celebrities are greiving his death. You and just about every other big name haven't thought about this guy since his Molestation case and even then it was nothing positive. Quit trying to do the politically correct thing and do what you really feel. This guy was 50 years old and had I heard around 40 million in debt, he was NOT a good human being.

As for whoever said he was accused and not convicted- please explain to me that settlement he had out of court with that child. OJ wasnt convicted right away but hes in jail now. MJ wasnt convicted right away but hes gone now. You will pay for your mistakes sooner or later.

You're right.
Who am i to compare the lives of oh say, a few hundred affected to millions affected.

Cause last i checked, Music doesn't affect anyone. Anyone can get achievements for music that was heard around the world, anyone can tour around the world and affect countries at a time, anyone can become the best seller; guess that bible thing is just another book too, seeing as it is JUST best seller and all.
I guess Bob Marley was just another Jamaican and The Beatles were just a group of Brits and Elvis, who was that guy. These pioneers in the Music Industry did nothing to change music as it is today or affect anyone outside of themselves.
Good thing we are taking out the Music & Art classes from our schools; they don't affect anyone!

1) How bout you explain this to me, if you were the parent of a child that got molested by Michael Jackson, why would you settle for money when you could send him to jail where he rightfully belongs? Lets weigh this out: 1) Get paid of to shut the fuck up or 2) Win the case, win money and send that sicko to Jail

2) OJ was destined for failure sooner or later. What can i say, if i was a rich black man and i found my white wife cheating on me with some dude and he is driving my car and wearing my clothes and fucking my white hole, I might kill someone too. Sucks the Law tried too hard to get him convicted and fucked up. But hey, we got him finally!

Damn it, i knew i should have went to Law School!

So you fully admit MJ was on the wrong side of the law concerning children? I wasnt arguing the punishment, I was arguing whether he was guilty or not, since so many people believe his innocence.

Sorry Bueno but Jacko's fucked up interests and fooling around with kids will always overshadow what he did as an entertainer for me.

What i believe is that Michael Jackson needed serious psychological help. He was abused by his father, lost his childhood and was a Jehovah's witness (Plays a big part). I believe Michael wanted to be a kid so badly it messed with his psyche. He wanted to live out a normal child's life even though he was at that point a middle-age man. He felt more at home with child than he did with Adults. So to befriend kids would make sense for the state that he was in. Now i wont say that its all good for a middle-age man to have sleepovers with kids, cause if i had kids, they wouldn't be staying over unless i stayed over too. But what i will say is that is in my opinion, in his clinical state, he wouldn't molest kids. He thought of himself as a kid, so he felt it was alright to sleep in beds with them. And like a kid he thought nothing of it, not realizing that the outside view of that would be negative. In my opinion, i believe Michael made friends with the wrong people. The children may have been good, but I believe the parents had negative intentions for Mr. Jackson and this in turn led to the downfall of the once "Legendary" Michael Jackson.

I guess to answer your question: I feel that Michael Jackson was innocent of the charges he was accused for. In my opinion, the families accusing him of the allegations were out for money or to slandered his name along the way. Cause honestly, what tabloid would turn down this story?!?

In the first case of 1993, the family seemed to only want money. If you have a case, with an issue like this, you would not waste months engaging with financial negotiations, unless your only intent was to get money.

In the second case in 2005, Michael Jackson was indicted for four counts of molesting a minor, four counts of intoxicating a minor, one count of abduction, and one count of conspiring to hold the boy and his family captive at his 2700-acre Neverland Ranch compound. now if you read about the family involved and the case, you will come to realize they were just as fucked up as Jackson, and that Monetary gain was just a side issue when compared to the issues they had between each other.

I'll just post this cause it is on my mind.

To be a Black Man who has Fame and Fortune in America is to have a life of Hell!

It is sad, but it is the harsh truth.

Its funny when people talk about the justice system and bring up OJ or Michael, even though they were never found guilty. Let me repeat that, they were not found guilty. Your ignorant rants based on he say, she say bullshit only shows your true nature. If you can not show this man, probably the Most influential Man in the World, respect; then just leave this 1 thread alone. That's all that is being asked.

My god shut the fuck up with that bullshit. The reason he is under scrutiny is not because he is black and famous but famous and admitted that he sleeps in the same bed with children that arent his own. That on top of the fact that he paid one of the kids he was found innocent of "touching" $24 million in a private lawsuit. $24 mill smells a lot like guilt to me. Not to mention numerous other things that make him a fucking weirdo. OJ is another case were he got off easy. Dont act like you werent as shocked as the rest of america when he was found innocent. Its not like the justice system has never screwed up. People get acquitted when they commit crimes and people who are innocent go to jail. The real icing on the cake is when OJ wanted to a book called What if I did it? or to something of that effect. I mean come on, are you really still supporting this dumbfuck. Not to mention him finally getting put in jail for robbing a person with a group that was armed. Thank god he is receiving some jail time in his life. Oh and lol at MJ being the most influential man in the world. I apologize if any of this is a repeated rant because I only read the first two pages and decided to respond to this complete fucktard of an individual.

So fucking what. It's music. It's not curing cancer. Music is nice to hear but it sure as hell hasn't changed my life. You'd be better off going at it talking about the charitable things he did then things he did in music. And please don't bring the Bible and religion into this discussion as we really don't need a religious argument breaking out.
