Earl Campbell, Robert Newhouse and such are real power backs. Minimal moves and brute power. Now while Barry Sanders and some of the others mentioned here had great power they also had moves which changes their classification. Bo Jackson was one who blurs the lines. But I think he should still be labeled a Combo Back. Bo was a stud, I'd love to have seen a complete career from him.
lol...Barry Sanders was not power at all...he avoided being hit. He was pure elusive. Often times, if he was headed toward LB's and had no chance of getting away, he would go down to avoid a big hit.
