Shit happens... Not always Randy Moss EPIC... but those are great numbers for Rookie WR's... and there's 2-3 every year.

The thing MD is forgetting (especially about the playoffs)... The Vikings are INSIDE! This will help Favre stay healthy and perform MUCH better than he has in the past 4-5 years. Is he going to be a Pro-Bowler? Maybe... But he only has to be top 5 in the NFC to take the Viks to the NFC Championship Game... Best RB in the NFL.. one of the best O-line's (top 5 or 6 if Loadholt is even average), THE best D-line (NFL dropped it's suit against the StarCaps players so the Williams will be fine), average secondary, good LB's... great kicker, good punter, Harvin as KR/PR... good Wr's (made better by Favre)... a top 5 TE in the NFC... had a break-out year...

WTF more do we need?
we WON the division last year w/o Favre... w/o Harvin... w/o Loadholt (I really think he'll be good)... and lost our STARTING MLB after about 4 games...
The Packers are rebuilding and managed to do it w/o losing too much ground in the W/L category... they're going to be a strong team continuously... Bears are good now... but still don't have enough (although they could be a dark horse/WC team)... Lions (lol)...
But the Viks are the only complete team in the NFC North... And they're playing the NFC central... CIN, CLE, PIT, BAL... they win 3 of those... SF, STL, ARZ, SEA... they win 3 of those... NYG, CAR... split... 2-0 vs Lions... split vs GB & CHI... that's 11-5.
Division won. maybe a 2 seed if they can sneak out a victory or tiebreaks... that's 2 home games inside for the playoffs = getting to the NFC Championship game...

automatic wins over St. Louis and Seattle? Cleveland is always tough, Cincy may be tough with Palmer back, SF is still a tough team. St. Louis could be having the worst season of their life but for some reason the Packers cant tackle Jackson. I dont see gimmes anywhere except the Lions.
