I was merely showing that's there's parity outside of BBB this season. Forgive me for thinking that I could provide evidence without public backlash.

It's primarily because whenever people complain about D-Line impotency, someone comes in and goes "HAY GUISE MY LEVEL 10 DE GETS SACKS, EVERYTHING'S OK NOW"

Well I'm a DE playing even competition in a shuffled cap 24 league, and I'm getting some pressure against top teams. That's all I was presenting to this discussion. I've been a huge proponent of fixing the DE/OT interaction, and would love to see change. But all I am saying is that it is possible to average a sack against even competition this season (at least in my league)

Bolded the only important part.

You can stop right there. At those levels, most OT's have just spent in STR/BLK and maybe a little into AGI. By the time you're lvl 40, if things stay the same, you'll be a 200 FP dancing partner.

Have the ones that have the problems with there defensive ends ever thought about taking a long hard look at there players build or actually doing some homework to find out what works and what doesn’t

It's been proven that the interaction is a mess. It's not player builds. How can a level 6 block a lvl 52? NOT POSSIBLE.

Have the people who use the same retarded argument ever thought that maybe they have. What would you say is a build that SHOULD work?

I disagree. I think that the shuffling of good teams into our league has provided us with stronger competition, especially in the O-Line. I can make the same argument that I don't have enough strength yet, so I should get pancaked more if a block is engaged, but I don't. So there's 2 sides to the argument.

Dude, don't even try to argue that capped leagues provide insight on other leagues. Like I said, my DE who was around level 25 at the start of last season had 66 sacks last season and has 0 this season at level 32 in a decent league. And there is NOT parity in your league so don't try to argue that either.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=2519063 Read, then enlighten us please. And yes, we know we could bring our level 40s and 50s to BBB leagues, but not everyone wants to be stuck in BBB once we get past level 32 or so

When did I say that it brought insight to other leagues? All I was saying was that in my 24 cap league, I've gotten x stats so far. That's all. When did I Relate it to Pro leagues? The interaction across the board needs an overhaul, but I don't understand where you're coming from with regard to this 'insight' or whatever.

I fully expect our team to be moved to SA AA next year, and I'll go back to fighting for 1 sack in 16 games. But I've been rebuilding with this team for 2 seasons now and it's finally our time to shine. I was only providing stats though. Sheesh, people draw conclusions from everything nowadays.

Tell that to Klarg Williams, an LDE playing in EEA#7. 15 levels superior to most competition, and still sucks. LOL

So let me get this right, you come into a thread talking about DEs being broken to say that your DE has good stats then you argue about your DE doing it against equal level teams but yet you think you're saying nothing? What's the point of posting then? If it's only to talk about your DE stats, take it to Game Recaps. This is a thread on how to fix DE interaction and why it is not working. You are either agreeing or disagreeing.

Well you just keep thinking along those lines and while my guy records 30+ sacks {again} we can discuss the definition of retarded. Learn how to build a player for this game and you will be fine

You mean your level 42 in WE BBB? Congrats. I have a level 46 in EE A doing great as well except he's been a bigger factor than your DE. As for learning how to build players, my retort is, know what you're talking about and you'll be fine.
