It's pretty clear that of the two of us, only one is acting childish, and it's not me. But it might be the guy with zero players in this league, with pointless and irrelevance opinions continuing to stir shit up on his own admission.

Not the best sim, and a lot of things are pretty broken...but they always have been.

Did you really need to sell right after the season started? If you were thinking about it for awhile, why not in the offseason? Or at least give it your best and play the season out. Hell...if you're sick of gameplanning, then don't gameplan. At least your team is still here and giving other teams SOMEWHAT of a challenge.

But quitting right after the season starts by selling your team back right away? There's no need for that.

whats the point Sik? does it really matter? its not like Spicewood gutting is going to change the statistics much...

It's fun to have a complete league. This was going to be the first season in a long time where all 32 teams were competitive and gunning for the title. Yet people are quitting 3 games into the season.

rj spent hours...hours...scouting for our games this season...hell...he even went through and hand picked the special teams for that SDL game....and all for what? Big Heart, Special teams, and ridiculous passing statistics to ruin even watching games....there is no fun in that. Sorry.

Shit happens. It was still only 1 game though which seemed to tip him over the edge, which is questionable. Seems like one of those cases where someone spends hours on a gameplan only to lose, and then they sell their team out of frustration. Whatever though it's his money and his team. I still think it is the wrong move to sell after 3 games. Especially when it would take him no additional flex, time, or money to run the team for the rest of the season.

1 game tipping him over the edge, but many many games bringing him to the edge.

Damn this was unexpected. Sorry to see you go RJ.

not to me it wasn't. I had a feeling this was coming, although I was more inclined to think this would be Spicewood's last full season, versus now. Still, I had a pretty good feel for where rj's always come from. My attitudes are along the same lines, which is why I am struggling right now to do anything resembling game now. This game's horseshit-o-meter is just off the charts in my opinion, and it hasn't trulybeen fun to play for several months now.

Or when they first added VAs. Coincidentally.

Shit does happen...game in and game out. The sim is just becoming not worth the time to plan for. And to say that it would take him no additional time is delusional at best. The best case scenario for him was to sell and quit the game. I only sometimes wish I could walk away. Hopefully this game becomes worth it again someday.

don't be surprised. I'm REALLY close to quitting all the coordinating I do now, Wolfpack included. I truly no longer give two sh*ts for this game. Bort had a chance to make some simple fixes after season 8 but instead he broke twice as many things as he fixed, and this season's a bigger abortion then season 8 from an overall code standpoint This game is a rudder-less ship with myopic leadership.

**** on a more OP note, let it be noted that I wish RJ nothing but the best in real life, and hope if he continues to manage his players after today that he doesn't ever actually do anymore 'work' on this game. I will miss our PM conversations greatly.
Best wishes chief.

Hate to see you go rj! I have truly enjoyed talking to you regularly in PMs since we started the tradition of playing in championship games against each other, and I must say that I am surprised by your decision.
