I just think the season 9 sim will favor your team. From what I've seen of the test server games (the ones available for everyone to view), the running game sucks ass.

If the passing game comes back, its gonna be awesome that we had the #1 TE in the game, then he goes inactive and his contract expires in the season we could use him the most

jrry, couldn't agree more, but, unfortunately, like him, hate him or even if you're indifferent to him, that's Bort's MO in a nutshell. I've been watching test games too. From what I've gathered, tkling looks to be bumped up again, PBs are all but dead (breaking tkls at less than 6% of their runs, and it not mattering much when they do because they get swarmed under right away anyway), the run game is extremely marginal and the pass game is over powered. Take all of that with a grain of salt, due to it being test sims and test builds, but not overly encouraging. Unfortunately, it lines up perfectly with the history of this game...Over react by killing the positions/plays and over powering the opposing position/counter play and then switch it back the other way in a ssn or 2. I do think he is trying to make a great game, it's just that he over reacts to mass outcries.

The whole thing with power backs being too hard to tackle was proved wrong this season by many teams who just didn't miss many. That isn't the problem at all. I really hope that isn't how he plans to deal with this again since it hasn't worked the last two times he tried it...
Hopefully its just preliminary stuff...
And pass blocking actually needs an upgrade, though not a major one.
