Also, this shit has been going on for a while. Like I said in that other thread, I first found out about people who play this game having access to test servers when offisides was implemented. That was like 3-4 season ago I believe.. Some tester was giving out inside info and it was going around to some select people, I saw it on a team's forum that I had a player on.

I think everyone was happy to get inside info, and it didn't click in anyone's head that it's bullshit to have a select few untrustworthy internet losers being testers, and owning and GM'ing teams.

I contacted support asking about this after we got beat by the retarded pump fake in the playoffs against Philthy, because I really started to wonder.. and they basically blew me off and didn't give me a straight answer.

My question was if it's true that people who play this game have access to a test server? I never got an answer and that was like 3 seasons ago I asked that, lol.. this bullshit has been going on for a while I'm sure.

It's really, really hurts the game IMO.. isn't it bad enough that all of the owners and GM's here basically work a second job for Borg? It's not Borg's game that keep people playing, it's good owners and GMs. Borg needs to start paying owners and GM's a salary for keeping his game going with retard bullshit like this going on.

That's not really how it works with class action. They would sue on behalf of all customers and then you could opt-in to the settlement. Costs would come at the lawyer's expense and he would get first cut of any money back. They could also sue for punitive damages and that could be big bucks.

Not that Bort probably has it, mind you, but it could still be sought. I'm just saying that I wonder if he's opened up to this now because of this action he's taken.

However it works, the distributed settlement to individuals is usually extremely small. Anyone thinking they'd get rich off a class-action settlement against GLB is smoking some pretty potent stuff....and as unfortunate as management's actions were in this case, I think it's pretty lame to be calling for legal remediation at this point.

When people pay for this shit, it's definitely retarded to have testers that own and GM teams that we all play against. WTF were they thinking?

I've ALWAYS known there's some stupid bullshit going on with the select group of nerds that probably are testers, and share information just within their click.

I don't completely blame Borg, they're all at fault.

I have a feeling, this stuff coming out now is probably the reason some teams folded ahead of time like Philthy, Boston etc.. I wouldn't be surprised at least. I'd say that definitely over half of the people on this site are a piece of garbage.

Nope..Not a tester...Though I would give alot to be one. Bort hook me up.

LOL, Bourbon Street was one of the first to do it and once people saw their success they started pumping it up, if you weren't smart enough to follow don't blame those that did.. You have taken this about 1000x to far monkeyskin.

Oh, and let me guess the offsides thing, was it by any chance based on pumping up vision? (because that was in the forums)

No smartass, it wasn't by pumping up vision.. It was pretty specific info on how numbers on certain attributes where effecting offside chances. It's specifically said it was info from the TEST SERVER.

To be honest, I don't own the Bullets anymore so now I can share my feelings better I really don't like you man, never have... so I couldn't give a shit what you think anyways, lol.

LOL and I got flamed for mentioning in a thread that there were mods and others that knew more about the game than the average person....guess I was right and I was right about a few of the people being here in USA Pro....

This testing server is definitely needed to work out bugs, but no way should these people be playing on a live server in any way shape or form. It's like running a contest and the person who pulls the name out of the hat pulls his own or another employee....shouldn't be allowed, it's just not right, plain and simple.....

No it's not just him, there's tons of losers on this site and I pretty much hate you all

I'm not some freaking MMORPG gamer dude, I like football and that's the only reason I play this game. Which is why I never thought to boost in something as gay as pump fake, because it was completely not football like which is why Borg nerfed it the following season.

Maybe it was smarter to not sellout to something that was wrong in the game and spend a bunch on pump fake like I'm sure a lot of people did, lol.

You've never seen me in the the forums trying to make friends and par taking in the kissing of each other's asses, lol..

All I've ever done is just mess with the AI and watch the replays.

Peace out.

Don't worry, I've thought the Bullets franchise were a bunch of whiny little ^^^^^'s since the day you came up. With or without Trav.

The only thing I've gotten out of testergate is that we finally know how the high agility DT, Pump Fake monster QBs and various other exploits came to be.

I agree that the test server is needed, but the problem lies in the people who were doing the testing. You can always say that they shouldn't be a GM or owner, but all it takes is a PM to tell someone that pumping the shit out of agility on a DE/DT will result in a ton of sacks. You have to have test servers though, as without them, Bort would be running sims all day instead of working on upgrades to the game. Independent testers would be the best, but I'm not sure how feasible that is.
