Can anyone explain the reason the HB is over looked on this play? Now granted, the HB had been targeted quite a bit on this play during the course of the game, but I am just wondering what goes into 'target progression'. It would be different if the HB wasn't the designed target for this play, but as we all know, he is. Was he ever covered?

His vision is not 90, but is over 70 and I would tend to believe that even 48 vision 'should' be able to see this man.
Meh, Loldots I guess.
QB's run a vision check roll to see each of their reads; if they fail the check then the receiver goes completely unnoticed. I have no idea how a QB could miss seeing their 1st read though, that wouldn't make any sense. It happens all the time on the HB streak play. I dont know why. My guess would be that the vision check happens when the HB is going through the line of scrimmage so he is registered as covered since there are defenders around him. That is the only reason I can think of though.
And yes, the Field Gen AE is quiet nice, especially since it came with a little +1 strength
