1) I would just like to say this isn't exactly like team gutting, because I am not exactly trying to improve a friends team. I just want to help a team win it all. Also, DD sent me an offer so this must be legal.
2) I am going to keep the team intact except for my 6 players, then I will sell the team.
P.S. I have gotten many offers. I will go over all of the messages that I have gotten tonight and I will announce my decision in the morning.
See, this is where I disagree. I think I get the point--you want to not have the resposibility of running a team (yeah, its a lot of work) and move to a team where you can get the wins.
But look at the team you leave behind.
TWO offensive linemen, 1 of which is inactive and about to end his contract.
ONE DT. I have to assume that you had a second one until very recently.
Sounds like a gutted team to me. It does not meet the minimum team size requirement. It cannot even field a full offensive unit (even by numbers--there are 9 offensive players). I have to imagine that as soon as a new owner comes in, many of the current players will be so disgruntled that they ask to leave. AND you released all your own players and put them all on one team without any replacement for you formaer team.
Sorry, maybe it should not rile me up this much, but with the Gutting/Collusion thing being so big that Bort has to start a thread on how to start it, and that thread has over 800 posts, then yeah, this is a big deal.
This is the second big move like this in USA Pro. So far, no one in the general public has knowledge of any penalty from the first. And DD appearently endources this by making you an offer?
No wonder why many in the public feel some anymosity toward the Alpha testers.
It is not like I forced my whole team to go with me. I left all players but my own. Which would be the same as if I wanted all of my players to leave any other team. I am allowed to do what I want with my players and I felt like going to a better team. Don't say that DD endorses gutting. This is not gutting at all. This is a case of me, with an agent's point of view, wanting my players to be on a good team. This wouldn't be a problem if my players were terrible.

This is allowed, because I did not gut the entire team. All I did was move the important players (my players) to another team. It is more like he signed my players than me trading all of the players to him. DD didn't say anything to me and he was even interested in the players.
Now I think that I should tell everyone that I merged with.....the Denver Globetrotters
As an owner, didn't you basically just release the 6 best players on your team, with the intent of abandoning the team entirely, leaving them without even enough players to fill the starting lineup?
Even when I had more time to work on the team, I still couldn't sign a starting DT. I have been without one for the last 10 days. It was getting to hard. Now I am just passing the problems off to the next guy who wants a team.

guys frankel has the right to take his players wherever he wants to. That team never had enough "required" people to play. He was struggling b/c of lack of depth.
And to whoever said that this will continue in the USA pro...i wouldn't be so sure of that. 4 teams are dropped each season...there aren't going to be huge blowouts. Sure people will change hands but there is not going to be a huge imbalance. Its silly to think you can manage an individual on where his players go.

Ouch. Could you have at least waited until after the Utopia game?

this is very disheartening - at least tough it out for this season - the NY Gangsters are now a stomping grounds for everybody. Sure this is "legal," and since you were an alpha tester and well known around here, nobody is going to do anything about it; but lets face it - you took the easy way out, and it is hurting this league and this game. No way you can deny that.

I sent an offer to buy, if he sells to me I have lots of time to invest in the team. Sure, it may be tough, but I'll make sure you have to show up to win.

Taking the sell high approach still? Figure you get season 1 and almost have of season 2 to get the team rolling. Team doesn't get rolling, sell the team off for 1000 FP when it'd only be worth say 281.25 FP. (1000 FP / 32 games = 31.25 FP per game. 31.25 FP * 9 remaining games = 281.25 FP)
So a simple 629 free FP, got to be nice.
Sucks, I hyped up our the Western Conference and degraded the Eastern conference and now we're trying to do our best Eastern Conference impressions. Arg.

Arg.yea i wanted the west to be known as the harder confrence so lets please all get back to the normal states and get some competition and he didnt move the whole team just his players even though his players were very valuable to his team and now my team to.
