tbh - I'd say 90% of the FA's we signed (CoachV could provide a breakdown for sure) contacted us first. And you can call bull shit or whatever, but they came to Monmouth because they wanted an active team that played the best in GLB. USA Pro had a reputation of ducking other top teams outside USA before we showed up. Any time last season we saw a top pro team from another league mock USA for not playing outside our league Coach V sent them a challenge right away. The elite players in this game want to play in the big games.

Seems very few people believe that we only went after 2 FA's out of all of the players we got. And not to sound like a jerk but what makes you so positive we won't win the gold trophy this season.

I believe it, but don't think you are the first to carry the torch for USA Pro. Bourbon Street played in that Original World Cup. The one where a lot of dicks in USA Pro got their reputation. The whole "we entered this but we are treating it like it means nothing" bullshit. Made USA Pro look like a joke.

We treated it as real and represented USA Pro as best we could. Detroit Demon Lions too (I think). We didn't win it, but we did make the final 4. Lost to the Official Football Guys. I'm pretty proud of that shit. We did well.

And I respect MEM for kicking ass all over the GLB world. You guys have kinda taken up the torch and proved that USA Pro is the toughest league in this game. And the Western Conference is the toughest of the tough.

But some pissass AAA wannabe comes in here and saying that a team like BSB sucks? I don't fucking think so. If MEM wants to say it...well I guess you earned that right. We haven't beaten you guys...yet. But I am not going to take that shit from some also ran. Especially after we beat them.

BSB's record this season isn't great. But we were beating Minnesota going into the 4th. Oklahoma kicks a last second FG to beat us by 2. We lose to the Freebirds by a point. I'll be the first to admit, we've gotten our share of breaks from the RNG, but flip those losses to wins and BSB is 6-3 and looking at a 11 or 12 win season...again.

FWIW, the Galaxy Aces were taking on any and all challenges before burnout hit. So yeah, it's cool that MEM is taking on these other teams but they're not the first. I appreciate them doing it though, even though I've never heard of most of those teams tbh.

Also... I fucking hate Merlin Olsen. Yeah, I said it.
