UF has beaten FSU 5 years in a row. Until you stop that run, you will just be second fiddle in the state of Florida. And for you UM fans, yes that was a bigger rip on you as you take third fiddle.

Incoming freshman classes are talent on paper. You never know what you are going to get. I can name 10 highly recruited UF players that never amounted to anything. UF has 10 returning starters on defense IF Spikes leaves early to the NFL. We also return our starting SS who was lost this past season to a knee injury. I expect Tim Tebow to come back and he will have Rainey, Demps, and Moody next to him in the backfield. Our awesome TE Aaron Hernandez as well as the WR that caught the game winning TD David Nelson returns as well. We return 3 starters on the OL (not mentioning that we have the #1 OT and #1 OG as incoming freshmen as they have never played in college yet). What I just named are not incoming freshmen (we have those too), but rather proven stars that not only beat FSU in Tally this past season but also won a National Chompionship. I think FSU is at least 2-3 years away from a competitive game versus the Gators.

Next year buddy fla gonna lose harvin, tebow, spikes and possibly more, that interior d line will be amazing after mcdanial (who was held all game at the under armor al american game) is crowned the besrt freshman in the acc, Ponder will be protected by his o line maturing, the wrs still good and jermain thomas blazing down the sideline, we might not beat fla next year but it will be close, all we need is an dominant safty and well be back on the map.

I can tell an FSU fan from a mile away. Just hit spell check and if you get over 50% of the words up for correction, then you are dealing with an FSU fan. Tebow should be back and will mostly likely announce this tomorrow at the National Chompionship Celebration in Gainesville. Another way you can tell you are dealing with an FSU fan.....check out the we might not beat you, but we can make it close line. FLORIDA WILL BEAT FSU NEXT YEAR. No maybe, no might, no moral victories. Like I said earlier, even with Spikes going to the NFL, we return 10 starters on defense. Even with Harvin going to the NFL we return more talent than FSU has had in any given year. The only possibly more in that equation will be the margin of victory compared to the 30 points that the Gators beat FSU by this past season.

I do give FSU fans credit in one area though.....they do live in their own world and will fight for their team even when deep down inside they know there is no hope. I do wish FSU good luck next season. In fact, I hope they go undefeated into Gainesville. I am tired of the Gators playing and beating a weak FSU team as it hurts us in the BCS computers. Lets see that FSU talent get into the top 5 so that the nerds behind the BCS computers give us more credit for the win.

P.S. If I were your buddy, that would mean I liked FSU. Not the case. Go Gators!!!

Uh, nobody sees Tebow leaving. He's a good little (big) boy. He'll stay in school and get his education like his missionary parents want, especially since there's now doubt about him in this year's draft sparking up. I'm sorry, but you must honestly be living in denial if you think that FSU will beat UF next year. Those true frosh you named prob won't even start because of the adjustment period. That's why FSU might be solid in a few years, but definitily not next year, sorry bro.

Also, if UF loses Spikes and Harvin, others will just step up. That's the way of things at a school like UF. They don't rebuild, they reLOAD.

I wouldnt call fsu weak but considering that they were one of the youngest teams in the bcs last year might have accounted for all thier mistakes, remeber the o line had no juniors or seniors and the best rb was a fresh, the qb was an soph, and thier wideouts were 1 senior 2 juniors and the rest freshman, so i expect them to be much better next year, even coming from a gator fan i hope your not too one sided. PS I belive Florida State teams of the 90's had more talent than the florida teams of now.

He has his opinion but i would think going through the whole 90's without ending the season 5th in the nation would be pretty special, oh and i would say florida might win one more this decade. USC has next years championship, and after that i dont know who would win. Ohh and the spelling its called punctuating, it makes typing easier, but that might be too big of an word for a gator fan to say.

Not likely. Florida, yes has a solid shot, but I really don't see FSU or PSU competing for a Nat'l Championship, sorry. VT and BC will defeat FSU once more and PSU will likely lose to OSU and maybe even Wisconsin or some other suprise team like Iowa this year. I also don't think that USC 'has it in the bag'. Clearly, the loss to Orgegon State shows that nothing is set in stone. Florida vs. the winner of the Big 12 (or a 'Big 6' undefeated team).

FSU was not even the best team in the 90s. If I recall, Nebraska won titles in 94, 95, and 97. Nebraska's 3 titles versus FSU's 2 titles. Once again, who remembers the top five teams. Did you almost get laid on your prom night? Not quite as memorable and screwing the prom queen is it???

Please read your posts. I fully understand that a word or two might be spelled incorrectly and I fully understand the idea of ABBREVIATING. Punctuating is the use of periods and such. Abbreviating is what you were doing to make typing easier. You abbreviated very poorly and spelled 50% of you words incorrectly. I know you are excited to type really really fast so that I can pound you further into the ground, but slow down hoss. Either you are under the age of 10, or you are the brightest student currently attending FSU.

By the way, since we are in the predictions thread still.......how did you like the fact that I predicted Tim Tebow would announce his return at today's celebration?

No go to bed and write down the names of all those high school recruits that might play in 3 years. We all know the results of next year. Here is my prediction....Gators go 14-0 beating LSU in the SEC Championship and beating USC in the Rose Bowl. I will be laughing at the TV as I watch Pete Carroll's about to cry face just as I enjoyed Bob Stoop's about to cry face.

P.S. I will also enjoy Bobby Bowden's did I just poop my pants again face. It is almost as priceless as did he really miss that kick wide right face. Take your beating and please just stop typing!!

I am also a Gator alum, not just a fan. In other words, I am smarter than you will ever be so trying to one up me is futile.
