I went with Clutch to 10 , and 3 points in second Wind. I want to max out second wind so that my safety is really fresh int he 4th quarter.. could make him play at a level well above the rest of the players.

1. Zone Specialist (if your team runs Cover zones) for an essentially permanent 15% boost to speed, agility, and vision on defense. 2a. Track Star - 15% BASE speed boost. 2b. Football Genius - 15% BASE vision boost. 3. Red Zone Freak - 75% chance for a 5% boost to all stats in the Red Zone. Very good, but IMO, not nearly as valuable as the first 3 skills. 4. Swagger - 15% BASE confidence boost. 5. Heart of a Champion - Great skill, but sadly, not everyone is a consistent playoff contender.
I chose zone specialist for my SS- absolutely incredible investment. He is in zone coverage essentially all the time and the boost to my players in game performance was immediately noticeable.

Whoever plays your s.s. in zone is reterded. I like my SS playing like a linebacker up on the line and covering the run, and covering short routes.

reterded? K
We play cover two, and sometimes walk him into the box. I still support the run just fine- if my safety is needed in the box for the majority of the game then we are in trouble

your team is terrible and was rushed on for 350 yards in the last game you 'supported the run' on

it's not retarded to leave the safety back in cover 2 in you can use a mix of that and bring the strong safety into the box, cover 1 is pointless because the FS just sits in the middle he's only good for when a WR gets away

...exept your LOLB can't follow a 110 speed TE on a slant-route.

Sorta true... if your safety sucks at reading plays and reacting.

I went with 10 in second wind for my SS for the first game. He didn't seem to play any better in the 4th and got only 1 tackle on the last play of the game on ST lol.
