There's a certain luster to playing in Pro, Enders.

Apparently. Its selfish to your players to stay in a league where you can't compete just to have that Pro title though.

like I said before, I never used the Pro title as part of my recruiting. hell maybe I should have but I found it to be a bit prickish. My team started here and we were not the bottom two but still asked to get rid of ourselves. That's screwed up IMO, especially coming from someone that has been here jsut as long and watched team after team come and go. Yeah that makes sense, get rid of a team that not only is active but let's bring in more teams that have no proven track record in EE PRO that could turn around and do the same thing.

I have to agree with Kenyon and must say it is not selfish if your players want to stay in Pro...it's selfish of another team to tell someone else to leave just because they want more competition even though said team has earned their stay in the league.

I would love to see GLB finally start a Champions league. It would help fix top teams getting bored with the regular teams.

amen...move up the studs...that is the solution...

but they wont...GLB is losing its luster and being in a Pro league is a burden and not a privilege...

I am way late to this party so please forgive me:

1. This is the first time I have ever posted on this forum
2. I was a Budapest Brawler , Cincy Tiger, & Chaos Theory player so I am familiar with this league.
3. Kenyon was trying to improve Cincy this season. I had added additional players to his team and planned to move even more of them to Cincy as their contracts ran out.
4. I have a gazillion players on a gazillion different teams. Kenyon did have a vision for Cincy that I bought into. I have no doubt we in Cincy would have been successful in upcoming seasons.
5. It will not surprise me to see Kenyon resurface somewhere and have success. The Cincy forum was active and it was fun to read. The Win- loss record was going to turn around. There was no doubt in my mind whatsoever.

The sad part is now we will never know.

I have to agree with They He. The team was at the start of a upswing, were making adjustments and roster changes too fill in the holes. I think they would have been more of a factor next season, and i for one was looking forward to it.

Oh it's not just Randy, it's his cronies also.

and the fact that there is nowhere else for his team to go. He has it easy here in EE Pro. He's at the top and will stay there until he decides to move his team or sell it,

meh

Move some of those Tiger players to Vaadwaur then I feel like we're on our way to competing with Prague anyways, but more players couldn't hurt.

Kenyon, you really are going overboard here.

IDK man...I'd take it pretty personally if someone told me I should leave the league because my team sucks even though we weren't getting relegated and I was working my ass off to make them good. Would you not be a little mad if Randy said the Pregls should voluntarily relegate themself for the good of the league because they aren't good enough to be here?

No. I already took alot of shit for getting promoted the way I did. I was already told I didn't belong here. I don't get mad at that stuff.

I don't want to sound like I agree with Randy, becuase I don't. I think Cincy should have stuck around for next year, and have a chance to turn the team around.

However, I guess I was piling on, so I'll just shut up about this now.

edit - cutting that other shit out, it was meaningless
