I agree with this one DRAGO will kill every USA pro passing record. He is on pace to do it now and he hasn't played the two CPU teams yet.

I don't want to restart this thread but felt compelled to respond. I understand the logic of what you have been saying. Very well put.

Look I'll explain exactly what I have been saying, like Ole Miss, Texas was the better team when them and OU played...are the better team now? Who knows...but what you can say is that they beat OU so they were AT LEAST the better team on that day. I can say all I want that UF would beat Ole Miss but who knows...Ole Miss already proved they can beat us...however we have not proved that we can beat them.

So the circular logic continues. McGrai was saying that using that kind of logic against the OU/Texas/AND Texas Tech situation is that you are saying UF doesn't deserve to be in the SEC Championship since Ole Miss beat them and since UF is the next best team in the SEC...Alabama should be playing Ole Miss beat UF. Not to mention that Ole Miss was unranked and played UF at UF's home field.

Only an idiot would think that is true, but you (like most in NCAA) are trying to apply that logic to OU being in the Big-12 Championship.

IF it was only OU and Texas in a 2-way tie...we all know who would be the OBVIOUS winner....Texas. Now since we have a 3-WAY TIE, it's not as clear. TT has a claim to the Big-12 Championship as well, since they are the THIRD TEAM in the 3-WAY TIE. So it went to a 5th Tiebreaker that was decided by the Big-12 teams YEARS AGO (not just last week).

If it was a SEC type 5th TB then Texas would win...if it was a point differential then it would be OU.

So don't apply a 2-way tie arguement to a 3-way tie situation. That's taking the Texas line of thinking and it's wrong. Texas COULD have been the one yesterday in the BCS to win the Big-12 South, but it was OU.

Apply some real brain bites and stop thinking in an ESPN mindset. One could look at LSU's politicking last year to get to the NC. It was what is was. LSU won and now no one is bickering anymore.

Let the season play out and let them play. These kids deserve more than this.

What the kids deserve is an 8 team playoff system.

This thread is going to get very lengthy since OU and Florida are going to win their conference championship games this weekend and meet in the BCS National Championship game. The title game is over a month away. That's a lot of time to "discuss" which team will win.

All I know is I'm happy a Big10 team won't be offered up for slaughter this year.

tOSU getting in last year was just kind of fitting with the madness that was last season.

But when they played Florida most people thought Florida would be lucky to keep it within 14. Words really can't explain the sheer meltdown that happened to them in that game.

I hope BlowU overlooks Mizzou as much as you are. Their depth is banged up and I Mizzou just might play up to their potential after losing a game they shouldn't have. Nobody is giving them a shot to win and that makes for a dangerous team.
