I have trouble believing she's that ignorant about world geography in the same way I don't believe Obama was ignorant as to the number of states in the union. Well, you see, there is a fundamental difference between making an oratory slip up (saying 57 instead of 47, or whatever it was), and (allegedly) asking someone "if South Africa is part of the country" (even if she did slip up and meant "continent", it's still retarded).
I would also have trouble believing this if I hadn't heard so much of her the last few weeks/months. At this point, it's more than believable.....she's just that ignorant.
Sorry man, you have to give me more than a 3rd hand unsourced statement potentially leaked from people who are looking for a scapegoat to save themselves professionally.
Well, obviously I can't. This just came out....let's wait and see if she denies it.
But like I said, I would side with you if she wasn't such a retard. Someone who can't name a newspaper that they read regularly, or an important supreme court decision other than Roe vs. Wade (just to name 2 examples of her ignorance),seems very capable of not knowing that Africa was a continent.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see if the truth ever comes out.
Agreed. We'll have to agree to disagree. To me Palin is very similar to Obama 2 months into his campaign. Remember he's had over a year of preparation to get to the point he's at now. If he had endured the type of scrutiny that Palin did right off the bat then I'm not sure he would have looked much better.
It's a moot point for the moment anyway though I am curious to see who the Republicans start to look at in 2012. My guess is Romney will be the early front runner but I doubt he'll be the candidate in the end.
I should state here that I'm not a Republican, I'm a conservative independent and while I often vote for Republican candidates, I have never been a member of any political party. I would also say that McCain is barely a Republican and is not really a conservative. He's a true centrist and, for the most part, a good man.
