Thanks, coach. I was just about to post that. Those guys in the East really don't know how to read. I'll update the OP, though.

You mean put everything in the first post? It'd be huuuge, but I'd be happy to do it if it seems more accessible.

Edit: Done, as suggested.

Yea, it would make more sense now that the East ones are buried.

I'll put this in the first post, but:

**USA Pro Bowl, Eastern Conference Offensive Selections**
QB:
Starter: Peter Gallo of the Gridiron Rage- When you’re picking a Pro Bowl QB, ya gotta go with the gunslinger. Gallo fits that type to a T, as he leads the East in yards (4454.5) and TDs (55). He’s stayed frosty despite the increased workload, with a QB rating of 119.2, 70.4% completions and only 10 Ints. (424)
http://goallineblitz.com/game/full_player_stats.pl?player_id=37733&playoffs=0

Alt: Rip McMasters of the Doomsday Sin- I try to be a bit more conservative (in terms of sticking to the numbers) on my pick for starters, but the Alt is where I can shake things up a bit. So I’m putting McMasters over Julian Krist of Philly. Krist has the edge on total points (325), but McMasters has a higher QB rating (129.2). He also has far fewer plays and atts, but he’s making the most of them, scoring a little over 1 pt per attempt. If Doomsday used him more, I’m certain he’d pass Krist. But then again, if Krist weren’t splitting carries, I’d have to give the edge to him. (286)
http://goallineblitz.com/game/full_player_stats.pl?player_id=27437&playoffs=0

HB:
Starter: James Wahington of the Boston Nighthawks- Same as with QB; ya gotta go with the guy who puts up the big numbers. And given that he leads the East in yards and TDs, that man is Wahington. It’s no secret how Boston wins games, and Wahington is the centerpiece of the strategy. (357)
http://goallineblitz.com/game/full_player_stats.pl?player_id=100849&playoffs=0

Alt: Clint Grant of the Green Bay Maulers- He may not get as many carries as Wahington, but he’s making the most of ‘em, with 7.3 ypc. Throw in 38 TDs, and you’ve got a winner. (313)
http://goallineblitz.com/game/full_player_stats.pl?player_id=64813&playoffs=0

FB:
Starter: B. Lock of the Gridiron Rage- With 67 Pancakes this season and his HB putting up a healthy 6.1 ypc, Lock is the obvious pick for best fullback in the East. (156)
http://goallineblitz.com/game/full_player_stats.pl?player_id=45167&playoffs=0

Alt: Tony Pepperoni of the Kentucky Madcats- With 72 Pancakes, he leads all FB’s in the East, but I’d like to better performance from his HB before I’d name him the starter. (152)
http://goallineblitz.com/game/full_player_stats.pl?player_id=50008&playoffs=0

WR1: Jon Blaze of the Camden Outkasts- Blaze has been a beast this year, racking up almost 1800 yds and 13 TDs. With an average of 9.1 YAC and 19 yds per reception, he’s a huge asset to Camden’s offense. (270)
http://goallineblitz.com/game/full_player_stats.pl?player_id=62316&playoffs=0

WR2: Cole Weathers of the Doomsday Sin- Weathers may not have the sheer numbers of some other guys I could have picked, but he’s put up huge numbers on only 63 receptions: 1,269.5 yds and 18 TDs (the most in the East). The master of the deep threat, his 20.2 yds per reception have allowed him to post big numbers off of limited targets. (228)
http://goallineblitz.com/game/full_player_stats.pl?player_id=77195&playoffs=0

WR3: Mad Maxx of the Gridiron Rage- Another player who has done a great deal on limited playtime, Maxx has 1238 yds and 15 TDs on only 74 receptions. (226)
http://goallineblitz.com/game/full_player_stats.pl?player_id=36590&playoffs=0

WR4: Ocean Suzgar of the Gridiron Rage- I went back and forth on this one, but who ever I picked at WR4, there’s no question that Gridiron has the best WR tandem in the East. Suzgar’s 1229.5 yds and 16 TDs round out the pair. (237)
http://goallineblitz.com/game/full_player_stats.pl?player_id=62867&playoffs=0

TE:
Starter: Cantstop Oden of the Philadelphia Pushovers- The premier pass catching TE in the East, Oden has 540 yds and 6 TDs. 35 Pancakes don’t hurt his case, either. (189)
http://goallineblitz.com/game/full_player_stats.pl?player_id=26155&playoffs=0

Alt: Jason Dawkins of the Kentucky Madcats- It’s nice to have a blocking TE to round out the skill players on the offense, and Dawkins is the one you want to have. 54 so far this season makes him the conference leader. (176)
http://goallineblitz.com/game/full_player_stats.pl?player_id=28868&playoffs=0

O-Line Unit
Starters: BigGuns McCord (C), Rock Slide (LOT), Tiny O’Slim (ROT), Murphy D’cleater (LG) and Tom O’Keefe (RG) of the Boston Nighthawks- Boston’s O-Line has formed an airtight seal around their QB, allowing only seven defenders through. That, plus 352 Pancakes, makes them the best O-Line in the East in my book. (63.4)

Alts: Dave Rimmington (C), Tony Bag O’Donuts (LOT), Jack Mason (ROT), Joe Momma (LG) and Mad Max (RG) of the Kalamazoo Coyotes- A few more sacks allowed (17) and a couple fewer Pancakes (350) makes these guys the second best unit in the East. (53)

I'd think GB's OL should have an alternate of 2 in there. Grant is solid, but has an extremely bland build. I'd bet the house that there are at least a half dozen HBs in the East with flashier builds, probably a dozen or more. The reason he get's what he gets is because of his FB & OL. For what it's worth, I think Pancakes are heads and tails, by far the most overrated stat there is in all of GLB. I do completely agree that Boston's OL deserves the #1 slots across the board, and that judging OLmen is extremely tough.

Thanks for the effort...nice read!

Nice nominations Cap. Just curious though, how come you set up O-linemen as a unit instead of by G, T, and C?

And there you have it, we're apparently a defensive team!

Our offense suffers a lot from "too many players to get stats-itus."

We have the most passing yards on the 4th highest % and the most TDs.....split between 2 players.

We have the most receiving yards and TDs....yet 3 will be right at or over 1000 yards with 2 others over 500 (and our RB chipping in almost 400).

Oh well, good list. I do like how you did actually take things into account like number of plays and things like that so it's not just a rundown of stats.

Teams that use lots of players will always hurt in these. Csonka has higher yards per carry and more TDs per carry (read EDIT).

He is a feature back though, if one of the Marauders (you can figure out which) was an "only" HB he would put up numbers like that as well.

EDIT: I deleted some stuff, but in general I was mistaken, Smith is no doubt the #1 HB and should be the MVP. If you look at his game logs you will see they didn't play against DDT or Dayton after they turned CPU. Thus he had tougher games

I like this. I'm a fan of justa's formula, and it's interesting to see it played out (in human hands, I still think it needs some tweaks if it ever becomes an automated function).

Also, I appreciate the Nesby love

May I point out that 34 of Clay Matthews' sacks came in one game? Little bit distorted there.
