Hey look, a fan club member. Do my posts upset you? Or can you not grasp the concept of sarcasm towards someone as stupid as EC who wont vote for a particular president because he hasnt served in the military, and the other guy has a hot VP.

I'm stupid because I believe the person who runs the military should have at least served in it. I'm sorry if I dont want some guy with no combat experience whatso ever to send me to Pakistan. But then again I should vote for him or I am a racist right.

You're stupid because thats the lone reason you're voting for McCain. Oh and his hot VP. Who you realize could end up as president because McCain is like 100, has had cancer about 10 times, and altogether just looks horribly old and decrepit. Now how will you feel when you have some inexperienced hockey mom running our country's military?

Not to mention the fact that the military is only a portion of what the president does. But you're all caught up in the wooohooo guns part, so I'm calling you a stupid redneck.

I don't think it should be a requirement for a president to have served in the military. Does it make it a little easier for the public to understand when he sends troops into battle, maybe. But ultimately serving in the military does not make you a better candidate.

Obama says, "McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith."

you know, from the rest of your post, you seem like a normal guy so i wont tear into that part. but seriously, the basis of the entire "obama is muslim" thing is a 10 second video clip?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpoAVAA1F30

oh snap its the ENTIRE INTERVIEW where he talks about being christian and with his muslim comment IN CONTEXT

Actually, his "My muslim faith" was a slip of the tounge, just like when Obama talked about "57 states" instead of 47. It happens to all of us. It's also a fact that he said it.

Ya know, just like all the other idiotic political ads that we are seeing out there these days. Obama wants to teach comprehensive sex ed to kindergartners. McCain wants women to be paid 30% less than men. Obama wants to plunge the economy into a depression by rising taxes. McCain wants to plunge the economy into a depression by continuing Bush's policies. Blah blah blah.

I'm sick of it. I would have thought you'd notice that the clip I linked to was partly in jest.

Here ya go.

Basically, he's talking about the fact that he's visited 47 states and has one left to go. His staff won't let him visit AK and HI. Of course, he says 57 instead of 47.

As if the Democrats have nothing to do with it.

2004 hearings into fraud at Frannie and Freddie.

On a side note if anyone is interest in Barrack's economic advisors they should look up former Fannie CEOs, Franklin Raines and James A. Johnson.

As I said before, if anyone thinks voting for Obama will change anything they are grossly mistaken because Obama is in bed with the people that caused all of this mess. (NOTE: This is not said as an endorsement of McCain)

You don't honestly believe that the most hostile congress had nothing to do with the horrible economy?

Do you really believe that the removal of the Glass-Steagall Act (done in 1999 under Clinton) had nothing to do with the financial crisis we are facing?

Don't point fingers at one side of the (stupid) two-party system that is in place in this country. There is plenty of blame to go around, simply look at the list of individual politicians who have been receiving money from Fannie & Freddie. Are you so naive to think that those donations didn't buy plenty of leniency?

Stop watching Keith Olbermann, watch BBC news... they seem to be the only ones who actually report the news, not their left/right wing opinion of the news.

Oh boy look at dumbfish go.

If you don't believe the current economic turmoil is a result of republican controlled government's lack of foresight when it comes to regulations you are dumb.

Fannie Mae Eases Credit To Aid Mortgage Lending
Published: September 30, 1999

Fannie Mae, the nation's biggest underwriter of home mortgages, has been under increasing pressure from the Clinton Administration to expand mortgage loans among low and moderate income people and felt pressure from stock holders to maintain its phenomenal growth in profits.

In addition, banks, thrift institutions and mortgage companies have been pressing Fannie Mae to help them make more loans to so-called subprime borrowers. These borrowers whose incomes, credit ratings and savings are not good enough to qualify for conventional loans, can only get loans from finance companies that charge much higher interest rates -- anywhere from three to four percentage points higher than conventional loans.

Of course, don't let things like REALITY get in the way. There is plenty of blame to go around for BOTH parties.
