still looking forward to this hapening sometime
and do agree with that a 20 man roster could be fine
and that the OOP should be in there ( for me its is 1 of the things to go for)
Just make it a seperate league and let them start at lvl 1 `s ( if people cros over later on i don`t see a real problem)

Yeah, I don't really see crossover as being a problem either as long as we start with caps to prevent a mauling from higher leveled players. After a few seasons, if your guy ain't built for Iron Man, he's probably not going to be very good

Exactly!

I have to admit, I wasn't very thrilled with the decision to move this out of Epic. Seemed like it was just a way of telling us to go away, and I was ready to say screw it and give up on the idea.
But instead of the idea dying off in the main suggestions forum, it's slowly picking up a new generation of interested supporters.
I know I get frustrated sometimes because I have to keep answering the same questions and making the same points (roster size, OOPs, etc) ... but I also know it's unrealistic to expect people to read 69 pages worth of posts. I've kept the OP updated with the debate points, but it hasn't stopped people. And maybe that's a good thing ... if they're not interested, they wouldn't be asking the questions or having the debates at all.
So keep asking those questions and sparking those debates, and if you like the idea, bring a friend along and have him (or her, if she's an Iron Woman) read up and see if they'd be interested.
Iron Man League or Bust!

The OP has been completely re-written. Anyone who would like to take a look at it and give feedback (positive or negative) is welcome to do so.

NOT EPIC??
Was Epic, but wasn't going to happen during this phase of Project Bort, so it was moved back here.
We think this will only be temporary ... the idea seems to be gaining a fresh round of steam behind it

Looks like you've covered all the bases. Now for the waiting game.

sounds reasonable considering the number of players per team. keep the cost semi-low to keep purchases up.

Or would it simply invite more non-serious teams, causing more season-to-season turnover?
I'll leave that part up to Bort to decide
