And yet y'all finished with a losing record against crappy teams in a crappy conference. Charlie sure knows how to do less with more.

Let's see what will happen with his first Texas class, which consists of a majority of 4 and 5 star recruits. The future looks bright.

He had as many 3 stars as 4/5 stars, and at least a couple of those 4 stars are not going to qualify.

The two aggies drafted were the last of Mike Sherman's offensive line recruits. Sumlin has done worse every year as players he recruited and developed are becoming a larger portion of the team. Let's see how he does when he doesn't have Manziel or Sherman's offensive line to lean on. The future doesn't look bright.

Sumlin signed 8 O-Linemen that rated in the top 20 in the country at their position over the past 3 years. I think we will be OK.

Interesting read.

Before you think this is a rag on Texas, Nebraska has the nations dumbest chancellor and athletic director combo in the country.

Meanwhile, in the Big XII...

"The total amount of the distribution is composed of revenue generated from the SEC Network, televised football, bowl games, the SEC football championship, televised basketball, the SEC men's basketball tournament, NCAA championships and a supplemental surplus distribution."

So that looks to include all Tier 1 rights (CBS) and Tier 2 and 3 rights (SEC Network) for 31.2 million per school. The Big 12, meanwhile, looks like it will disburse over 250 million just for its Tier 1 and 2 rights for over 25 million per school. Add in the 10-15 million per year that UT will get for the LHN (its Tier 3 rights), and UT will bring in over 35 million this year.

So you keep bragging about the money distributed by your conference in which you can't win (just like you couldn't win in the Big 12), and we'll keep bringing in more money. You have always been and always will be little brother.

Sips will get 12 million from LHN, but like 20% goes to IMG and half the remainder goes to academics, so your numbers are off. Also, the SECN portion of the money is after all of the up front costs of setting up the network, next year it will be huge.

Please keep bragging about how y'all have 3 conference titles in a 20 year period in arguably your best stretch of teams ever. Baylor is 1 behind you now, congrats on being OU's bitch.

Wha? You haven't finished higher than 3rd in your division in the past 17 years. We have two conference titles, one MNC, and have played for another MNC.

And is it a bad thing that our athletics program is putting money back into the academic side? We could be like A&M where athletics has to be loaned money from the academic side, but Texas is a University of the First Class first and an athletic powerhouse second. A&M can't say that.

What has happened this decade? Recent history doesn't bode well, and neither does the future.

Sips records last 5 seasons: 36-28
Ags record last 5 seasons: 44-21

Sips post season record last 5 seasons: 2-2
Ags post season record last 5 seasons: 4-1

This means A&M has been the better team since current high school seniors were in 7th grade. We have better facilities, better coaches, more "Swag", better exposure, better competition, and better results since they started playing football in school.

Also, stop with the "lol y'all are poor you have to borrow from the university crap." Just stop, it makes you sound ridiculous.

http://sports.usatoday.com/ncaa/finances/

Our AD had a profit of $24M last year, y'all only profited $7M

Oh, and don't act like tu is some ivy league while we are tech light.

In other news, the sips went 0-4 in NCAA postseason play this season in the big 3 sports. Texas A&M is 5-1, with more to come as we advanced to the Super Regionals in baseball tonight.

For those not aware, that is in reference to the sips allowing the sell of alcohol at games next season.
