I know that but saying Pallow didn't disappear after the first set of forum rule restructure is crazy, he was on cruise control after that - for quite some time. We used to cyber, and then all of a sudden he went dark - and there I was just a small town jamz, living in a lonely world. I took the midnight pm going anEEEwhere.

Playing beerpong and listening to linkin park with Cornblade isn't exactly work. They may have also been looking at porn, but I can neither confirm or deny those allegations.

Because #1) familiarity has no correlation with competence, #2) it causes decision-making to be emotional rather than rational, and #3) it promotes favoritism. Bort had a potentially amazing product here and to some degree it was successful, but it's easy to imagine it being vastly moreso had he teamed up with someone who had actual business experience (or sold it to someone who did). It's been clear all along that many of the problems with how the site is run stem from naivete, ignorance, and amateurism.

I don't know pretend to know the inner workings of GLB but I could imagine that there is a fair amount of work you could do without physically being logged in and posting on GLB's forums. Visibility is nice but not really a requisite for work.

But I understand the sadness.. quoting journey songs can take a toll on one's psyche.
