Yes, and Bort given the clarification that we do NOT wish to impose upon his valuable and limited coding time--all we're asking for is a strict roster limit and he can leave the rest of the coding exactly as its already written. Those that choose to play and/or own teams in this new type of league will learn to adapt AROUND the code, making hard choices regarding:

* Which positions can substitute most easily for other positions while enduring the out-of-position penalties;
* How much to pour into "stamina" so as to be able to endure playing both sides of the ball
* Which position(s) to purposely NOT play on both sides of the ball (QB seems like a no-brainer, but who really knows).

Aye. I'm pretty sure this is exactly what makes the idea seem fun for most of us. Without OOP it'd would simply be use the positions with the best SAs and level gains.

The roster limit is the problem with coding/sim.

The way the game figures out the rosters/players is the problem.

I'm guessing many supporters of this idea could learn to live with a 20 man roster size if it meant this idea came about.

Been stated as acceptable by me previously. Between ST, O, and D; 20 is still going to take some creative builds and coordinating.

No doubt! And the season 2 and 3 builds will be intriguing indeed! Can you imagine the agonizing when it comes time to boost? Do I spend my SPs capping an offensive attribute? Or do I shore up a defensive one? Great stuff!

I haven't been following this thread, I'm assuming every team starts off as a cap 1 or cap 13. Is that correct?

I was assuming that as well (either would be fine with me).

I could deal with 20. Maybe have the roster limit at 20 until the coding for 15 could be figured out?
