On another note...I think we had a Heisman winner declared this weekend (barring off field stupidity or a serious injury)...

the Since Everyone Cheats conference is the top conference, although they break the rules like clockwork. Not in the sense that all teams CFB bend/break the rules somewhat, SEC has it down to a science.
An 8 team playoff will eventually happen and that in and of itself may serve the game well. By allowing more slots, the elite talent will tend to get more distributed or so it seems.
Time will tell but I am really hoping Shameous Winston doesn't get crowned again or his lowlife band of Criminoles.

I think he was referring to Melvin Gordon, otherwise he needs to lay off the bong

Are you KIDDING me? Winston should not even be in the Heisman convo at all...he needs to pack up and do poorly in the Pro's, sooner rather than later.

I was referring to the Criminoles and Shameous winning it all...not the Heisman

We are talking about mwoods' comment above that one.

How the fuck do the refs miss that offsides. Worst blown call inhave seen in years. Everyone in the stadium knew that was a free play.

I think the best 4 teams are playing, I just don't think the committee did a very good job of getting to this point.
Baylor and TCU were blue balled all along

If the Big 12 had a championship game, there is no doubt I think that winner goes to #4.
I think Alabama dogged a bullet with FSU going to #3. Not that I think FSU would have necessarily won, but OSU should be an easier opponent...
Time to see if FSU can continue to get lucky (cause we all know they aren't very good)!!!

I think Bama would have LOVED to play FSU as they are the easiest mark of the 4 teams. tOSU is red hot right now, but FSU based on their record and maybe even more importantly, being the defending champs sporting that record, got the nod and justifiably so.
Oregon seems a shoo in for the first final spot and the other game holds more intrigue with the way the Buckeyes have come on as the season has progressed.

I'm a pretty fair guy, and reasonable most of the time. I don't think FSU loses in the first round. I think they have faced the very best every team, good or bad. Had to throw at them...most of the teams they faced were coming off bye weeks as well, which I do think matters.
I truly believe that FSU would have been a tougher game for Ala than OSU. I believe OSU will lose by 2 scores. Oregon can score and score in bunches, there is no doubt. I think it will be ANOTHER close game, but I think FSU will come out on top...
Only time will tell. I'll be the first to say we got what we deserved if we lose...would anyone else be willing to say FSU deserves it if they get through these next 2 games? I mean EARNED it, not just "got lucky"...Even if those wins are by 3 or less.
