Back in the late 70s through mid 80s-ish there was a series of commercials for Palmolive dish soap featuring a character called Madge the Manicurist. Madge's catch phrase was "You're soaking in it," referring of course to the Palmolive that apparently softens hands while you do dishes.
Orcinus equated this thread to Palmolive, and also the answer to tsaun's question.

Also, to return to the spirit of the thread, the Cobra Kai also softens hands will sweeping legs.
