I didn't know this game was still around.

i have to admit, i've gotten pulled into it...for a short spell, anyway. long enough to burn some of my reflex.
i imagine the novelty will wear off soon enough for me as i can't quite grasp the trick to figuring out the numerous aspects of making a decent brawler and my guys tend to get their @sses handed to them on a regular basis.
i've been playing GLB since 2008, haven't bought any flex since 2009 and, while only playing free dots, it looked like i was going to continue playing for many years to come as little flex it was required to equip a dot with custom gear and play him out for 13 seasons only to have a fairly large portion of that flex returned when the dots retired.
MB gives you free Brawlers but then makes sure that, after a short period of time, they can no longer progress as rapidly without spending 355 flex per month per Brawler. the game involves more daily interaction than either GLB or GLB2, has better graphics, has an "addictive" quality to it and requires users to spend more flex if they want to keep up.
Bort & crew figured out how to weed out "squatters" like me who were sitting on a huge load of flex, playing their games but not contributing funds towards the continuation of said games. well played, Bort, well played.

however, i will still make it a habit to patronize these forums daily...FOR FREE!!!!

Wow you actually play it ? I played the one day I posted here in this and never went back. Game is lame tbh.

yep, and finally i must be doing something right cuz 2 of my guys are winning much more than they're losing.
i get it that it's not for everyone, but it is more interactive and i find it to be more entertaining than GLB.
between rated brawls, posse brawls, survival brawls and tournament brawls, my 2 pro brawlers have fought 40 times each in just one day...even the guy i didn't buy a pro license for fought 34 times and, depending how i choose to engage them, they can do that much or even more every single day.
compare that to GLB where my 2 dots play 1 game each every other day with an occasional scrimmage in between and my 1 bot on GLB2 that rotates through 1 ladder game one day, 1 league game the next day and then has a day off. my 2 WR only get a handful of targets each game and sometimes no targets at all because many, if not most, coordinators have found they have more success with a passing game that mostly targets the backs and the tight ends. i have grown bored with going through the rigors of making (at least what used to be) a decent dot for a game that, for whatever reason, seems to find the dots i build somewhat obsolete. for me, that is pretty lame.

It's entertaining, more so now that I've put more time into it. I can also buy brawlers at any time ( or it seems like that anyway) which is a pretty cool convience. Haven't been on GLB as nearly as long as others have, but I can honestly say I love both almost equally now.
GLB2 is "okay", but as it's been said another dot sport game would have been cooler in it's stead. Either way WG is getting my money though, so eh.

geez ryan, you already out-level him 10-8 but then you just sit back and flame throw him to death.
afraid to try a little diversity in your arsenal?
