After 900+ posts of overwhelming support for a pretty simple idea, I have to admit I find this "resolution" a little disheartening.
Thanks to everyone who supported this idea and added to the debate.
Not necessarily.
However, right now...making the iron man league requires a lot of re-write to the code. With so many pressing issues, the time that would needed to be spent on it...isn't justified HOWEVER the option is still open.

I understand that part. I'm not arguing with it.
But "Epic" does not mean "Urgent" in the dictionary I own. There isn't another idea in Epic that has received as much support -- consistently, for months -- that this one has. So it's not going to happen soon, how does that make it less epic?

...
You pretty much got me there.
However I'm pushing for some sub-forums within the Epic Subforum
-In Progress -In Discussion -Revisit at Later Time -Locked NGTH
Bort and crew are moving through epic, and dealing with each thread in turn. If they were moed out of epic it is because Bort has decided not to implement them in the near future.
They can always be addressed farther down the road.

I understand you're moving through and it's easier for the sake of organization to get things out of that forum that aren't going to happen soon. And I'm not trying to be a rebel about this.
I'm just worried that this idea will quickly fade to the back pages of the suggestions forum without someone coming to consistently "bump" it back to the front page ... it seems to be a rather sad demise for a pretty popular idea, one that might be revisited in the future. And it's only a matter of time before someone else suggests the same thing because they have no idea it's been suggested and debated and refined in the past. Then we have multiple threads for the same idea cluttering up the suggestions forum, no way to search for them, etc...
I like the idea of a potential sub-forum in epic. I hope this thread will be remembered and brought there if it's ever created.
