The ACC bent over to get ND to join. There is no way Texas and OU would have put up with some of ND's demands. And like I said in another forum, ND made a better choice for their football program with the new playoff format coming up. They would only be the 4th or 5th best team in the Big 12 and likely wouldn't improve too much over that, while they will likely be able to compete for an ACC championship fairly quickly.

Texas will be competing for the conference championship this season just like that have most seasons. That's something the aggies rarely did in the lowly Big 12, so I wonder why they think they will compete in the super awesome SEC.
