I was just thinking about this idea. Perhaps this could be implemented in the Pee Wee Leagues. Pee Wee has Gold, Silver and Bronze. Why not add Iron to it. Anyone wanting an Iron team, would have the roster limit of 15.
If you did this across the Pee Wee Leagues, it would add another element to the leagues that would make it more fun. Already, you have owners and agent making players just for the Pee Wee Leagues and retiring them at the end of the season. If you were to create a whole new player creation page, called "Create Pee Wee Player" or "Create Iron Man Player" that only allows you to create a type of player (like lineman, end and back), then you could create players that are well rounded enough to play both sides of the ball. Outside of that, you eliminate the OOP penalty, or change it to merely effect the three positions in the league. If you did this, you wouldn't even have to create a new set of leagues. You would just be tweaking Pee Wee Leagues.

Why eliminate the OOP? In HS, I played DE, OT, & WR. There is a definite different set of skills needed for each & I would think the OOP needs to be there.
Also, I would want my dots for more than 1 season.

I think building Iron Man guys for only one season and then resetting them every year is a bad idea.
One of the selling points of this idea is, to me, the challenge of building out a player on both sides of the ball. And these guys are going to be just terrible their first couple seasons.
If this idea were going to be implemented for just Pee Wee Leagues, I wouldn't even be interested in making a player.

I think we're all pretty much settled with just lowering the roster max however possible and playing in an ongoing league. Anyone have a status update on this?

Your probably right. Perhaps the first season could be implemented in the PeeWee Leagues to save space, then rolled out the season after that with capped 13 teams to move them to, and a while Iron League section on the Leagues page.
