God I hate doing that...as a Bears fan I'd much prefer a top ten RB/LB list

Definitely go with the LB list.

#1 - Lawrence Taylor

I'm a Bears fan, but I agree with this 100% LT was a once in a lifetime player. Possibly the best defender to ever play the game imo.

Well, my second fav team is the Giants My pops and all my friends are giants fans since we are about an hour or so from Giants Stadium. I'm sure not all Bears fans feel that way lol Want to get under my skin? Say Walter Payton isn't the greatest player in NFL history

Let me guess (again)..Bears fan since 1985. Giants since..well, February 3, 2008.

(Oh and yes, I remember how old you are)

Lastly, Jim Brown was better than Walter Payton.

Paul Hornung.

Hall of Fame halfback Paul Hornung scored an incredible 176 points during the 1960 National Football League Season. Although the mark has been challenged a few times over the past 46 years, it wasn't until LaDainian Tomlinson eclipsed the point total in 2006 that the record finally fell. Making Hornung's amount of points even more impressive is that he achieved the total during a 12-game schedule.

It should say, "making Hornung's amount of points even more impressive is that he achieved the total with a hangover every game."

Under your skin now HB? Nobody ever picks Hornung.

I can deal with people saying Brown as everything I'm heard he's the only one who can compare to Walter. I would still give Walter the nod though because he could do everything, return kicks, QB, catch the ball out of the backfield, block, run with it, and amazingly even kick. Barry Sanders would be 3rd, but not in the other two's class IMO. Giants fan when the Bears get knocked out of the playoffs only, since, well I started watching football

PF's comment isn't even worth replying to

Top RB is either Hornung or Jim Taylor. I think that's pretty clear and anyone that says otherwise is just a Packer Hater.

Tie for #3 with Ahman Green and Ryan Grant.

I also have Otto Graham in the Top 10 list, but didn't really feel like getting into it earlier. BTW: Montana, Brady, Graham, Elway, Marino, Unitas, Favre, Tarkenton, Moon (including all of his career stats), and Staubach. Manning, whom I really like, needs to either do it longer or win a couple more rings.

No love for Edgar Bennett or Dorsey Levens then?

That's how I know you aren't a real Packers fan. Reggie Cobb is #7. Caught ya!

Sweep the Packer!

Don't you dare say I'm not a Packer fan!

Packers in my lifetime that could have made the list include Brockington, Middleton, Gerry Ellis, and Eddie Lee Ivery. Maybe even Pooky Workman . And plenty of others before my time that could have been on there.

Reggie Cobb sucked as a Packer. 579 rushing yards. I went to the first preseason game that Cobb played in Green Bay. Made $5 on a bet that he would get the ball on the first offensive play of the game to show off our new "star"!

Every Packers RB combined can't compare to Bam Morris.
