Wow, your statement is exactly like how I got involved. I sat by getting irritated by the retarded ramblings of some of the Playbook's players then I got fed up and posted. Which resulted to what you see now. If you didn't care you wouldn't post. As tired as you are by "all the fucking whining" you still are drawn to read this shit and committed a fatal mistake: you participated. Thus by you posting, you just place yourself in the same "bag" as anyone who has been posting. Which doesn't make you better than anyone either. With that said, feel free to join the unending battle between people you could give a rats ass about, that will never have a conclusion (unless Bort shuts down this forum).

It can be fun, it can be irritating, it can piss you off but in the end you make it what it is. As many a poster has typed, you can just decide not to read, thus ending your GLB BBB#9 Forum woes.

Since there has been a huge decline in "constructive" forum participation. You can either start something up yourself (in which I would gladly read and comment on) or join in on the random useless whinery. Otherwise YOU SHUT UP and stop reading. In fact you should have stopped reading a long time ago.

Anyhow if your still reading here's my simple response to your post: If you think my posts are for anyone but me and my teammates, don't flatter yourself. I only defend myself and my team. Why? Because I feel like it and it helps pass time at work. Mainly it helps pass time at work.

IF the forum goes back to the days of Season 2, I would be very happy. I enjoyed the detailed pre/post-game shows and also Vawn's web-casts. As for now I'm still participating but it is in the manner at which the forum has changed. It may be meaningless but it still keeps things interesting.

This is a very funny response because his statements are all hypocritical. If it's about wins then we had a very good record and um... yeah we are not whining. We never whined but when they make threads about you to harass you of course you're gonna go and reply to them right. If you say no then why the heck are you replying to this one. Yep, we do put ourselves on a higher pedestal than them, have you read their threads? Pretty much belittling everyone. Sure, maybe you will just sit by and let people act like total dicks, but we sure as hell won't. Sorry if we have a e-backbone. Yes I understand this is a sim and any given sunday one can lose. Hell, that even happens in real life. If the cards don't go your way, not much you can do about it cept hope for next week. And don't take this personal, but according to your logic since your team had a losing record it seems that you are doing the whining. And for the record, i'm still very competative even if this is online whether it be debating or winning a online football game. I just hate to lose but if it happens i'll shake the better mans hand not rub their face in it except for one team alone.

Wow thanks for clarifying the first line he stated when he said that he was throwing us in the same bag as you guys. From what Scout says, I understand why you guys trash talk but doesn't mean I have to sit by and watch it I'm bored at work so i'm scratching that itch that irritates you mostly because I have nothing better to do during the down times. And as to the mammoth gm, I just thought i'd let you know that our remedial acts was a try to reason with them when the rest of the league was pissed at them was our way of trying to do something constructive but you see where that has gotten correct. Wow reading comprehension much? I said that by posting I lowered myself to some of the Playbook players. Like a mosquito bite, it's annoying, but it is still relieving to scratch. I think it's hilarious that since you can't back up your words within football talk, you have to try and attack everyone on a personal level (calling people idiots and such). The momma jokes I thought were funny and were not directed to anyone. If I got a penny every time someone mentioned the Special Olympics I'd retire early. Oh and 30-3 is the FACT that Warriors > Ho.

Sorry Freakshow but a 30-3 scrimmage win means nothing by that token does it mean that Omaha was a better team than Honolulu. No. It just means we won that one game.

I think the point Freakshow is making is that we did win the scrimmage. I know it doesn't account for much but could you imagine if we lost. The boards would blow up with Ho cut downs of the Warriors. If you doubt it, then imagine the playoffs loss post x10 Hell we lost one playoff game in the second round and we got a roasting thread. I give indy credit they talked the talk and walked the walk. But you won't always get your wish whether you are the best team or not. If you get a chance, watch our game vs cary. I'm not taking away anything from their victory but damn our AI was stupid to throw when we were easily in FG range. And we could have ran the clock down and kicked the FG for the win. Personally, no games really matter its just all in competative spirit

So now we bring up scrimmage victories and what if's in the playoffs. Im not going to continue this conversation, I really do think you are both idiots. Good luck and : ) : ) : ): ) :

If it was a real life football scrimmage, yes it would mean nothing. This is a sim-game, there was smack talk before the game was played there fore it meant something, not to you but to both the Warriors and the Playbook. If anyone from either teams says anything different they are lying. And yes Omaha was the better team than Honolulu, until there's a re-match no one can prove differently. Due to our records, we were ranked higher but as far a team vs. team, the Shockers were the better team that day. I look forward to our re-match
