Hmmm, a one liner with a smiley face on the end of it? And what was your response to that?

Proof that it existed. Because I wasn't able to copy the smiley at the end of the PM (didn't show up), yet you knew it was there

I don't think I responded, if I remember correctly. *Checks PMs*

Nope, I didn't.

Nicholas Raine is not up for best CB? I'm not a homer, but that is ridiculous.

first, LOL at the homer comment.

but to seriously address your concern. your stats don't stick out as one of the top CB. however, i would have looked more closely had your owner sent in a recommendation list. he did not. so if you care about this, take it up with him.

Also, he's level 28 and only has 6 INTs? Sounds like a suspect build.

And I thought you would know better.

That was the name of the game this year, a lot of the good teams held the RBs to few yards and no TDs, that's besides the point, for the most part, without analyzing every single yard and TD, these guys were a wash against many of the good teams, but OVERALL, every team played the same competition and the yards and the TDs were a fair shot for anybody to get it, and E.D. beat them all in the combo of YPC and TDs, hands down.

As long as by "every team" you mean "every team in the East" then I agree completely. IMHO it's not a coincidence that these RBs with huge stats all play in the East.

My HB is still averaging 100+ yards/game and 4+ YPC in the playoffs.

Yes. He is definitely a great player. Clearly one of the top three HBs still alive. Seriously though, he'd get my vote if I had one.

Not trying to take anything away from these guys as they are without a doubt the four most deserving of nomination, just saying it's very difficult to compare stats across conferences.

Yep, they're almost like different leagues.

So the fact that you didn't reply shows you clearly didnt take it seriously, thus you correctly interpreted the message as sarcastic. Were you trying to claim otherwise?

Wow that's impressive. But didn't you know that the playoff games are inadmissible evidence in regular season awards? Post that in a playoff awards thread!

I was pointing out that not all Eastern Conference HB's are having good years just because they beat up on cupcake teams. Way to show your douchebaggery though.

Douchebaggery???

You know man, you are a real piece of work.

But besides that, I find it interesting that the only common opponent in the playoffs is Philly who has possibly the best rush defense, and E.D. averaged 3.5 YPC and 1 TD against Philly and your guy only ran for 2.4 YPC and 0 TDs. Maybe a few less stats and a few more lame ass insults will help you bring my evidence down so that your guy can steal the award from him.

But we won and you lost. I also had 4.6 YPC against the Nasty (ya know, the game where E.D. had 1.3 YPC).

And as for "stealing" the award, you claim that E.D. had the best YPC and TD's even though MJD had the EXACT same YPC and # of TD's along with 700 more yards on a team that came in 1st as opposed to your 3rd place team.

You know the game where the Nasty were boosted and E.D. was not?

Oh and I'm glad Jones Drew gets credit for making the win happen, yeah it must have been all him then with his mundane numbers.

I'm done talking with you.

i think (well, i know) that his point regarding the TD is this:

since MJD and ED have the same YPC their difference in yardage shouldn't be such a huge factor. however, ED had many fewer carries with the same number of TD.

the 700 more yards were simply because he got more carries. ED shouldn't be punished because his team spread the ball around (or so the argument goes)

E.D. had less carries because he didn't get the ball a lot in most of the "tough" games. 13 carries vs. the Nasty. 6 vs. the mustangs. 12 vs. the Pushovers. But he gets 27 carries against the Gearheads and 31 against the Blazers. I guess that makes it easier to have a nice looking YPC when you only run against weak teams.
