It makes sense because you get to side with the team that is more likely to win and you get a chance to win money. It's just like any sports bet, if you bet on the favored team to win sraight up, you don't get the full proportion of money back, but if you bet on the underdog you are supposed to get odds.

Yeah, it wasn't about making money for me. I was just kind of getting annoyed with Hogg's posts for a while, so I initially wanted to skip the bet just cause I didn't want to get involved with more of his shenanigans. But then he backed me into a corner by trying to say I didn't have confidence in our team and that argument made sense so I figured yeah that's a good point, it would be crazy for me to pass up a bet with odds in my favor and to support his claim that I wasn't confident in my team, so that made the decision pretty clear.

I think I played it well because I at least got some message across that I'm not going to automatically just get roped into somebody's shenanigan's anytime that it is convenient for them.

If he would have approached me with the bet under a different tone he probably could have talked me into giving up some small odds to him, but since he offered an even money bet, well that was just a good deal for me.

Yes, you got a straight 1:1 bet,I was just trying to make it less of a money loss for you if for some unknown sim malfunction you guys lost. But well that didn't work and theres no way I was going to bet 20$ to win 10$.

P.S. Now I have to delete my kicker after this season since I don't have the free moneyz to pay for his boost

Well for one I don't believe that the sim has malfunctions. I think the sim works according to its program, pure and simple. And I believed our team and inputs give us an advantage in the program.

But either way, a bet is a bet, what's better to win a $5 bet on a 2-1 or a $1 bet on a 10-1 horse? I was offering you a chance to take a favored horse and to only give up partial odds, it would have been odds in your favor, thus making it a good bet.

And it would have been a good hedge for me because I had to give up no odds to Hogg but I could collect some odds from you. It would have been a good deal for both parties. And it was only at the expense of Hogg who didn't collect the odds making such a win-win bet possible for the two of us.

Remember your Mom doesnt fit on just 1 photo though so you have to take pictures of her in sections and I will have to tape all the pictures together LOL
