Also, is it true this "exploit" they used was known about and they just did it too much? That's seriously concerning. We're just allowing exploits as long as people don't "over use" them but also only a few people know about them?!?!

I don't think any one KNEW for sure, but a lot of us suspected?

I doubt Bort has the time to go through, and try to figure out who got burned, by how much flex, etc. My first post was in jest.

Might be a nice sentiment though, to throw out a decent splash of rewards points, or a free player with a little trophy .gif, like the beta supporter one, that says "I survived PJKoo-gate".

Well, some decided to stay quiet with not reporting anything to support and defended their asses anytime some discussion started regarding "integrity of the game".

I was referring more to this acquisition below. If it's been around forever and everyone has known about it (I didn't and still really don't fully understand), why was it not fixed? Did "everyone" know about it besides Bort?

Build players until you get the double equipment bug, rinse and repeat until you get a bunch of them.

Bugs been around forever, and everyone has known about it. But we all worship Borts skanky toes and just let the broken shit ride until someone totally abuses/wins with it.

And that build was crap, but had I known I could keep all that equipment I would’ve built differently which would bring my PVs through the roof and/or allow for more SAs.

12 or so years ago a GLB admin (Catch22) had a multi (CerNet) and made all of CerNets dots have 100 in every attribute. Obviously these dots crushed

Only time I've seen it discussed and was purportedly fixed ... I don't think this is that as that did not require brute force afaik

Agreed and also with Tom... MM are as well built a team as Ive been on and Hood have always been mFg !! And to be fair Cudi PeeJ and PWND have always seemed cool to me.

Must be getting soft as I get older... If Im scouting an opponent where Ive got access to the roster I never even scout those roster atts as to me thats not "sportsmanlike"

Not trying to fight with melon here ... But, it certainly seems like it had to be something else - for the following reasons:

1) Obvious - you wouldn't end at +55 with doubled gear?

2) Hard to explain having the bonus tokens for +105 in extra SAs, and enough to outright buy 3AEQ (4AEQ in some cases)

3) An insane amount of extra skill points in the build, to fill out a metric ass ton of SAs to 10, including end of the tree ones, and those three extra SAs, while still ending at a reasonable point on all attributes. (The attributes, were nothing to write home about, but were roughly around the existing 'meta')

But that was a tiny number of open builds. They could have also had doubled gear, like melon mentioned, on the SKILL positions, as the ones that were open, were all in the trenches ... so I'm not saying, that couldn't have ALSO been exploited. And yeah, I'd never heard of the doubled EQ thing before.
