I wouldn't request to speak to the executive chef because I would be certain he or she would actually be busy doing something.

Great customer service!

You've shown great restraint. Usually by this point in the conversation you would have already compared WG to Blizzard.

A better analogy would be a mom and pop general store. You walk in and the owner is an old man sitting in a rocking chair picking breakfast from his teeth and belching. You say "hello" to him and he just ignores you.

or...

There's a band few have heard of that plays a gig in front of 25 people every Saturday night and you ask them for an autograph. They ignore your request citing "we're tired of all our fans bugging us for autographs".

Yea, it makes so much more sense to have a dead body on return-flex life support for years instead. I think the point that you missed (like usual TBH) is that this game would have died completely a long time ago if we all didn't have this "investment" of dollars sitting there that we don't want to just walk away from. And from my perspective, probably others' perspective as well, we'd be better off with 70% of our expenditures in our wallet and would have left an unsupported game a long time ago.

The "charge out the ass, but give a large refund" model was probably the reason the game didn't grow big enough fast enough (cost too high) and also the reason that the site is still even live at this point.

Also as an added bonus, we still get your charming personality and obtuse point of view to witness. One good thing......

Once again your point out that a game dead a long time ago is better than the game still going. If you don't like the game stop playing. Simple as that.

If you don't like what's being posted in MY thread then GTFO. Simple as that.

Well except in this scenario the owner isn't at that store. He is at another store in his chain and you are expecting to talk to him at this one.

No, that's actually a pretty terrible comparison, bhall.

I mean, if the stores were in the same building and merely divided by a door, maybe. Then that owner would just sit in one side of the building and never walk through the other door rendering customers to stop going to the store on one side of the door. Then the owner would be completely reliant on the sales of the store where he sits and picks his nose all day.

Naw he would be working on a new store actually. Though the store comparison as a whole doesn't really make any sense as stores don't really compare to video games at all.

My point was that this is not a massive company with a huge client base.

Their point is that Bort has no reason to drop by and say hey here for the hell of it. That is what the other admins are for.
