Your Strength is awesome and you have good agility. If I may suggest, go for a few of your SA now. Shed block and strong base would really make your DT shine now that you have him a very good foundation.

Thats what Im thinking but like thenm we have the same problem with SA's. You can get SA's to 11 but the sim only recognizes anything SA above 10 as 10. So if you have strength at 100 (with equipment) and you level up and the automated SP's DO add onto speed pushing it above 100. Would the sim recognze it as 100.xx (With the automated SP's) or just 100.00?
Ah; I was talking about base statistics when I did those calculations. Also; the calculations are slightly wrong past level 22: I was assuming that the automatic gain to strength drops to .33 thereafter, but apparently, it only drops to .5 (though it's unknown whether it will drop again). Getting a stat to an equipped 100 just means a base 78 at 24, which is simple, and any NT worth his salt should be there or close..
I didn't realize that an SA at 11 had the same effect as a SA at 10, is this true? How can one even tell, anyways? If so, why doesn't it display it as 10, to avoid confusion?

What a lot of people don't read, and JBrown obviously HAS read, is that for the OL/DL positions, the higher your Strength, the slower you use up your Stamina. That's extremely important to know when creating linemen.

It is very important to know. Strength is the most versatile skill in this game. For EVERY position it helps with at least 2 different things. It obviously makes you stronger, helps force fumbles, Helps with tackling, and it helps save energy during games. You can save SP's when building lineman by yaking all points you plan on putting in tackling and stamina and putting them in strength instead. It does seem like most ppl dont nkow that yet.

Pretty much. More strength = you get tired less quickly from blocking/being blocked. As a NT that is extra important.
I have 70+ Strength, and 40+ Stamina. And I use more energy every game than teammates that have 30-35 stamina.

I've actually found that agility helps more with stamina loss, so long as you aren't getting pancaked on a regular basis.

Yeah, because it helps break and get off blocks. Being blocked is the biggest stamina drain.

The way I look at it, if you get strength to 61 by level 8, then you get 2/3 point per level after that up to 22. So that means natural 70 1/3 at level 22 without ever doing a 3 for 1. Add in 18 for equipment and it is at 88 1/3. At level 24 it could be 89 + 4 more for 93.

Im slow building a DT right now, just started, and Im going to try to get 70+ base strength by level 15. Im not really sure if its possible but Im saving all my SP's and training strength right now at .45 a day.

I just hit 60 base at lvl 9. that with equipment should be more than enough for a long time.

Yep. Get it up quick and you never have to worry about it again. In fact, you could even consider putting some of your level 16 or 24 equipment support to agility.

Wow, I guess a base 70 by level 15 is def possible. Im just going to put every SP I have into strength but im not spending any SP's yet.
