For all of the bitching and moaning, I still haven't found a better way of playing football on the web (and "no", GLB2 isn't better, sorry).

When Out of The Park Baseball finishes their football simulation next year that might be just the kick I need to slowly ween myself off this game.

I'm keeping all of my players in peewee and rookie. If owning a team and filling the entire roster was cheaper, I would be willing to spend money here more frequently.

Quit your whining. No one wants to hear it, Larry.

The prices here are too high to draw in new players. The best MMOs on the web wouldn't dare to charge more than $15 a month. In order for this game to appeal to a large audience, the cost to run a team and field all the players should be around $5 a month. This games prices will need to come down or it's going to disappear once the current user base migrates to glb2 or loses interest.

I tried telling them that and they all laughed out loud at me. Supply and demand doesn't seem to be a concept they are very familiar with, tbh.

I have no whining--as I said before, IN SPITE of everyone else's whining I've not found a better option for playing football on the web.

You seem to be under the impression that doing absolutely nothing is a better alternative.

You already know they aren't going to a subscription based element. However you seem to think I even care at this point. This game is pretty boring at this point that I could care less if it was thriving with millions of people or not.

Why don't you admit you hate this game? You've hated it from the very start. You don't love GLB like I do. You've even tried to tell people I hate the game to mask the fact that you hate the game. Not unlike someone who cuts a nasty, silent fart and then exclaims their disgust at the stench in order to fool others into believing it was not an emission from their own anus. I believe you simple folk refer to it as "he who smelt it, dealt it".

Spread your hate elsewhere, Ben.

subscription based idea would be interesting if you didn't have to worry about players aging...or perhaps they could age at a much faster rate...say 2 or 3 seasons before hitting full level...

They could have different subscription tiers depending on the amount of players you want....it includes all boosting and all gear needed to compete. That makes more sense to me than just hoping people buy flex and give up before they recycle it while hoping someone else new comes in and does the same thing
