In contrast, when Chik-Fil-A gave me a sandwhich with a bite taken out of it, I got a new sandwich, my money back, and coupons for free sandwiches later. But like...dude, it had a bite taken out of it. WTF.

honestly , I think Bort has done a fantastic job with 1 , and as stated many times previously , I like it .... ......

of course still there are many things that could be improved ....

...... bugs such as the current deterrent to watching/playing this game should simply be addressed immediately by mgmt .......

why wouldn't you ? .....

That is a bit of a different scenario. Also gross.

McDonalds just got my order wrong the other day. I brought it back in and they gave me a new burger. They did allow me to keep the burger that was wrong, but they generally aren't going to refund you for that unless there was any further inconvenience. To which you still wouldn't likely get a refund but would be given coupons for a future purchase.

this is how they do it in canada.

costs them a lot less to just give you a burger they make for dirt cheap rather than give you your money back.

Pretty much. They still want your money. So they make you a new burger. Give you some coupons to come back. Hope that when you do come back you spend more money.

But the analogy isn't really apt, since BK can remedy the situation immediately by providing an equivalent product at the same place and time. Here, GLB can't/won't provide the same scrim at a reasonably similar time. What that difference in time means to the owners who scheduled the game is lost time to evaluate the results of the scrim and lost chances so schedule future scrims. In GLB world, that lost time does have value and by only supplying a make up scrim rather than a refund, the user losses some value in the deal. Thus, providing a make-up scrim does not offer an adequate remedy for the situation.

again ..... costs them a whole lot more in the long run ....

I'm not talking about getting a refund for a freakin burger ... I'm talking about losing hundred's and thousand's of dollars from a customer who does not purchase any more burger's or flex .... ever ...
