I never been into internet games till a friend recommended this game. To me it mild entertainment that helps keep my mind busy during stressful times.

I can relate with that...was just curious.

to answer the title question, yes, I think at least the casual aspect of the game could be better served by a more player, less coordinator centric game, pee-wee dunno, some of those guys really like to geek out.

Maybe GLB1 could morph into the "hard-core" league that the more aggressively nerdy can have fun with.

I disagree, I believe with GLB2 (which I wont bother with) will draw some of the high end players so teams will have a tough time filling rosters. Those owners will come to pee wee and see that pee wee is not all that bad once you try it. The custom graphics replay rewrite speeds the game up to world league speed so the only thing tough in pee wee is trying to beat the CB dropping 20 yards too far while the WRs stop on a dime.

Naw...a lot of people took part in it just for lulz during the free player raid and a lot of us were completely turned off to it. If I am gonna do work and coordinate builds and AI's it is going to be with competent players all around. And really if GLB2 had a dot representation it would be a much better peewee environment for building. Largely what is setting GLB2 off to most of the GLB agents is its sidelines graphical representation. Hopefully they can do something about that before launch whether it be dots or at the very least a vertical representation of what is currently on hand. Of course from a hardcore point of view the obvious set off is no ALG building and lack of full control over the sim. Though I don't believe that to be a large spectrum of GLB. At least it feels small to any of my knowledge of agents over the last 10 or so seasons.

Actually, the high end players I've talked to are staying at GLB1.

If peewee goes away is it really a good thing to have those one and done teams dominate rookie season after season?

I can count on one hand the bad owners I've ran into and the last one I encountered was back in like season 12 or something. You guys must just be terrible agents.

Ya... 1-2 minutes of research and 99% of "bad owner" experiences can be avoided...

That's why I can't understand these people like that perpetual noob that started a thread a couple of weeks ago. He stated he had been on 8 different teams with "bad" ownership the past 8 consecutive seasons. I could just randomly sign with a team (doing no research) every season for 10 seasons and probably wouldn't sign with more than 1 bad owner, if even that. Me thinks it's not the owners that suck.

Even the bad owners know better than to send you a contract!

Hi-oh!

Jk.
