You couldn't be more wrong. Having only ONE set of major and minors per position in the original game hamstringed builds--there were certain player types you simply couldn't build to have any degree of effectiveness. Archtypes opened things up (even if the additional levels and additional SP that was added with it may not have been a positive).

additonal sp were overkill and destroyed building from my perspective. i didnt mind the arch part but all the sp's killed some of the things that made glb exciting.

So more ways to build like before they forced archtypes on us.........that really took the individuality feeling out of the game once builds got pretty cookie cutter.

If you believe in cookie-cutter builds, you don't know what you are talking about.

I don't have uniformity on the dots I build for myself, let alone to say that other people all have the same builds.

Just because there are a lot of people on here who don't understand the building system well enough to arrive at decent dots without following a plan doesn't mean that others can't.

You seem upset about the new game. That's fair, but bitching about where you think GLB made mistakes in the past is not giving them a chance to fix those mistakes in GLB 2.

Typical internet responses... "your list sucks" (I mean, it does...). Bunch of people who have nothing to add, but an unsupported opinion and negative remarks. Welcome to the internet.

That's a great way to bring people in, make the 2nd game even more expensive.

Well it's less expensive up front, so that is a good thing for new people.

So that would be like taking Kate Upton out on a date and then her turning into Joan Rivers. Starts off perfect but in the end you really just want to kill yourself.

Are you claiming that there isn't a bunch of cookie cutter builds since the archetypes were introduced?

Yes, and people who suggest otherwise are only spotlighting their own utter cluelessness.
