Well, the thing is most dot builders slow build these days. If you're slow building for WL then you're not really all that unable to compete at the early levels because most everyone else is slow building too.

Correct. CAP-building, however, is very much alive and well. And they're not the same thing.

Okay. Let me rephrase that.

Building with the best possible end build in mind and not so much the present results.

Slow-building was a reasonable description, so I'm not sure why you were "corrected." Maybe they were thinking of "super slow-building."

I guess different people use the phrase to mean different things. I'm more or less doing the same thing I was with my s4d0 dots, just more efficiently.

I agree about cap building, and I am not talking about boosting when you shouldn't......What I am trying to get across....Is if you want new people to join and REMAIN with GLB, you have to think how you started. When I first started, I made a decent RDE...Chuck LaRock.....I was one of the first to make a RDE with all agility. It helped him presently and the for the future....Was he great???? Hell no, but was decent. This was before O and D AI's. More importantly it kept me interested in the game. Whatever league I was in I wanted to win. Now a days, anything you win under pro or WL people say big deal, we weren't trying it's all about the WL. Well guess what a new person is not going to hang around or get "hooked" on the game to wait till the WL.
My 2 cents, blast away

I don't see owners and coordinators not trying to win at lower levels. However, I can see where it's gotta be frustrating for owners and coordinators when dots' builds are unbalanced until several seasons in.

Ive been advertising a newbie team - basics and a little info - no boost or CEQ needed - uptake is very slow..........methinks some players dont like to be seen as green or slow on the uptake And yet there are way too many crappy dots around ..........

Some people don't realize they are slow and can't build dots. And if you point and laugh it out at them they get all mad and shit.
