Yeah, but for that to work, he has to get his attribute above 32.07 naturally, since the first cap is at 48.07. He thinks he's going to fall just short of 32.07.

That's a good reminder, though... if you can't get to 32.07 naturally and you'll have to boost anyway, then there's no need to spend any Bonus Tokens buying a Skill Point. You can hold onto those BTs instead.

Novus, with the build plan you parroted. Once you hit the cap and then boost, when do you use the 18 skill points? What do you use them on? I'm sure you are going to tell me the primary once you can cap which I think is within 9 points as the cap is now at 2 skill points.

Let me post jdbolick's plan again, for the sake of reference and so people don't have to click back to an earlier page.

Basic build plan for any .5 ALG dot
If going strength first then pick one pound below the maximum. If picking speed first then pick one pound above the minimum. Enhance the first attribute to 10%, train intense three times, enhance to 20%, then train intense until you have a nearly full bar at 32.9x. Convert 15 bonus tokens to a skill point and cap to 48.9x. Then boost. Next season you'll enhance to 30% and normal train, then second cap, then continue normal training, then third cap. At that point you'll unlock and enhance your attributes for multi-training. Unlock the first, second, and third attributes you plan to cap and enhance all to 30% when possible. Use the free first slot to rotate any other attributes you plan to cap eventually, enhancing each to 10%. Continue multi-training until the first attribute reaches anywhere between 90 and 100 depending upon your build plan. Skill points should be spent in the first attribute until it reaches between 73 and 85 depending upon your build plan and how many attributes you eventually need to increase.

So yes, you're reading it right, El Retré. Hold onto your Skill Points until you have enough to take your primary attribute up to the second cap, and then do it.

Keep in mind, any time you take an attribute to the next cap, spend just enough SPs to get your attribute over the cap and then stop there. You get your most efficient training gains when an attribute is just past a cap, so you want to take advantage of that. It's okay to have a small number of Skill Points sitting there unused for a few days.

I ended up falling short. Unfortunatley I bought that one skill point before I noticed. I still have til tonight to retire him and start over right?

Yes, though I'm not sure if you'll get 100% of your Flex back or just a portion. But yeah, as long as you do it before rollover tonight, you can re-create your dot, follow the jdbolick build plan, and get all caught up.

so I shouldn't fall short this time as long as I set his weight at 236+?. I fell just short at 235. Strength main attribute

So following that plan that Novus posted, I'm sitting on 18 skill points with my player's speed attribute at 50.4 and 85% progress after boosting him today.

So, now, I hold on to those SPs until I go with normal training until I have enough SPs to jump up to the 60 cap, right?

Normal or Intense - whichever you prefer

Normal training is better because it gives you a chance to build up some BT's to unlock multi training without a huge hit to training productivity. Intense gives slightly better results, but it will take longer at that point to unlock the secondary, tertiary, and last attribute for muti training.

Do I then multi-train all of my other attributes?

I'm creating an elusive HB so I've agility next up on the list, but am I supposed to group that in with carrying/vision/confidence/whatever or repeat the process that I used for speed?

Thanks for the help, everyone.

You need to have speed in your multitrain for pretty much the time you are going to multitrain

The way I would do it, as explained by Novus in his parroted post, is to always train your primary. Unlock your secondaries and add them in once they are in the appropriate enhanced levels which is about 30%. Keep in mind you should wait until they are enhanced because multi training does not accru BT's. Whichever your main attributes were are the one you would want to train. HOWEVER!! Whichever skills you want your HB to have are the ones you pick. Elusive usually pertains to speed, agility, vision, and carrying. You can always throw strenth in there if you want him to break a few more tackles instead or catching if you want him to be more versatile.

Pretty much correct, though one slight correction. You DO get Bonus Tokens from Multi-Training. You just don't get as many as you would with other training methods.

That's odd, when I did it, I didn't get any. I thought that was just the side effect of multi training and why you wanted to unlock and enhance before multi training.
