the never ending battle between offense and defense
I am a defense guy and I HATE this.. But lets not forget QBs have hard time completing more than 50% of passes so I guess thats pretty fair.

I think everyones main complaints are
1) fakes fire too often
2) the effect of fakes are too strong
3) stupid receptions in double and triple coverage
4) jury is still out on the effectiveness of a cover 2 zone when safeties wander around stupidly

70 agility means you don't have the speed or the vision or the tackling needed to see the play develop and to get in position.
Deal with it.
WTF are you talking about...speed and tackling...
have nothing to do with the stuff in question.. the only thing you can claim for why my guy goes running 10 yards past the receiver like some kind of jack ass is vision. Gonna build a vision first guy next restart and I bet he does the same damn thing

bs..the wr has no idea when in the route the ball will be thrown..he knows his route..though at rookie you would think with 20 vision..which is equates to "football iq" he would mess that up regularly...but nope...rookie receivers always run the right route

I'm telling you how to build a proper dot in rookie, and having 70 agility isn't it.
Also, what is your coverage distance set to? What are your tactics? Is there a special coverage distance for the play?
There are hundreds of factors, but you seem to be obsessed with the idea that rookie dots can do everything with no stats to back them up.
1) Speed is important. If your dot is out of position, speed will help him get in position.
2) Tackling is important because if you DO allow the reception or a run to the outside, you need to be able to make the tackle.
3) Vision is important because it deals with reaction times, which is the heart of what you are bitching about.
4) Agility is only important to change directions while retaining speed and breaking blocks. It will not get you in position to make a play without speed and agility.
Fix your builds or deal with it. I stand by my comments.

there is no fix to the build..that is my beef..my guys are set to semi aggressive..so they dont try and jump pass for a pick.. and as tight as coverage as possible.. i know how to make dots..i have made probably close to 1000 of em since i started... i realize its "just" rookie but that doesnt mean dots should act totally retarded

i realize it gets a bit better with time..but replays from regional minor dont really support that its ok for rookie dots to just run around at random
