lol plankton stop living in denial, you're wrong on this one!

'owning a team' is useless if you don't have a means to be competitive! ...it just shows how obvious a fail it was to build the game around the player aspect of the game ...it should be more team aspect! ...look at how many skeleton and CPU teams there are! ...just another reason why the interest is dying! ...everyone should be a team owner or at the very least, be a large 'shareholder' in a team! ...all the nay sayers are just living in denial and in turn, contributing to the demise of this game!

obviously, I agree with yello1 on this!

It's difficult to track the true decline of the game as you would need to see the incoming revenue and who is buying new flex points. A lot of agents used to buy flex points, but no longer do so and are just playing this out until their flexies are all gone. Then its c'yA

If everyone had to own a team, you would find even fewer people playing this game, as there are alot of aspects of team ownership that folks do not like to do.

just another assumption from someone in denial tbh

...from what I have noticed, the majority want to have more control of a team and the ones that don't are just passengers that are paying money to be fed build guides by the 'true owner'(usually the team owner/coordinator) of the builds that they paid for ...basically, the majority being led like sheep by a select few ...doesn't seem worthy of my hard earned dollars to be a passenger ...am sure that the majority, like myself, that pay good money for this game want to have access to the AIs so they can have more control over their investment ...more control=more interest ...more competitive teams=more interest ...more interest=more investors ...more investors/more competitive teams=more forum activity=more interest=more investors ...win, win, win!

Its not an assumption. I have 7 friends that I play this game with. Only two of us care enough to do the owner /coordinator things. If they could not be player only agents, they would be gone. Anyone of them are welcome to do the coordinating. We have been on teams together for 20 + seasons. I have also had several dozen other agents that were a part of my teams over the last 20 seasons. When I asked if they wanted to coordinated, scout, recruit, or any of that, no one spoke up. None wanted to put in the time. They simply wanted to have a few players and be a part of a winning team. That is what I gave them. Many of them have quit, but it was not because they did not have access to the owner parts of the game.

If anyone is making assumptions, it is you. You assume everyone that plays this game is like you. That is a untrue assumption.

Yeah coordinating is generally what causes burnout. A lot of people step back from coordinating to actually enjoy the player building aspect of the game. Coordinating tends to require a large time investment and puts you a little too close to the sim.

Coordinating is awesome, even when you get your arse handed to you. I blame InRomoweTrust when I lose. Player building is a blast, just wish salary meant more TBH.

As a guy who gets these PM's every day of the week. There is a small niche community that actually wants to run an AI and even in that small niche of a community a good handful of those guys wishes someone could come in and take over.

How are they hurting GLB? By playing the game? Spending flex? Support your statements of STFU.

dude you don't need to coordinate for every game to be competitive, just use the current AIs that are already set in place and slightly change them from time to time ...still able to have fun and experiment, which is more than what an owner of a CPU or skeleton team can do! ...maybe you do need to do more in WL, but that is just a chip off the iceberg compared to the whole of this game ...don't compare oranges and apples!
