Meh, in the premiere leagues it should be difficult just to make the playoffs. Winning a gold trophy is neither here nor there. That's why I don't consider PW Gold to be a premiere league.

I OCed a National Minor Elite team last season. We went 16-0 and lost in the CC with out putting that much effort into it. I guess you easily made the gold playoffs this season, it's not so easy for most.

National Minor Elite is not the premiere league of the regular leagues.
World League = top regular league
CasPro = top casual league
PW Gold = top peewee league

World League is best of the best. Back in the day Gold was comparable to WL but it was like comparing apples and oranges. Casual pro may have the game's best builds. Gold is still a tough league but not to those levels.
Peewee needs to be revived or contracted once again, sad imo. My first team was a copper team and the copper league was almost all human.

I wasn't saying WL wasn't the best of the best. I was stating that the best of the best of regular league is in WL, the best of the best of casual are in CasPro, and the best of the best of peewee are in PW Gold.
You are comparing all three league types with one another. I'm not.
If PW gold isn't the premiere league of PW then get rid of G/S/C.

G/S/C didn't exist when I was in PW before. Liked it much better then than I do now. Peewee went from being a niche league to being regular lite.

Now you have C-level teams able to make the playoffs and not get demoted where in season's past, those C-level teams would fight to not get demoted. And while there are less A & B level teams, the fact that those teams still exist is the reason it's hard to win a trophy in PWG and most fail.
So ya, PWG isn't as good as it used to be, but it's by no means an easy league.
+1.
I remember getting demoted back like 6 seasons ago and, when I look back at it now, there's almost no way for a human team to get demoted now.
But that said, there's still those A&B level teams which basically insure that some scrub team isn't going to win Gold. They might make the playoffs, which they'd have had no chance of before, but they'll still get curbstomped equally hard in the playoffs as they used to.
I'd say it's still a strong league and still damn hard to win gold at, but it's just not nearly deep as it used to be. (Hell, just look at how terrible Silver/Copper are.)
One thing that's pissing me off though: You can't say pee wee sucks while simultaneously going 7-9. And you can't use the excuse that "oh, but I didn't gameplan", because no one fucking gameplans in the regular season, so you're on equal footing there. So please, just stop with the "lol I'm leaving and ur all bad" after going 7-9. If Gold was such a shitty league, shouldn't you have at least beaten the non-boosting teams you played?
If Gerr or LE or jkid wants to say Pee Wee is not competitive, sure, ok, they're right. But sorry, Dub, you haven't earned that, yet.

I'll tell ya this, Gerr and Jkid need to get rid of their second team. Worked with both and respect both but c'mon guys. If you really want to win that bad try harder, not with two teams. Who wants to play pee wee when two of the best coordinators have two fucking teams in the league? Whats next 3 teams, 4 teams what is the limit? Gerr cried the loudest many moons ago about the very fact and 10 seasons later he still has his Cardz team that DOES boost. Care less about the boost but give the playoff bubble teams a chance to keep wanting to play. Start a silver team, no sense in having two Gold teams. Gee I wonder why no one wants to play.

I don't know about Gerr, who seems to try equally with both of his teams, but Gold Test Squad is not a team that I try with. The reason why I have them is to play FG in scrims and to test out schemes and builds that I want to use on FG in the future. They just happen to be in gold because they were promoted a few seasons ago and I need to boost them because there is no point in non-boosted test builds. Gold Test Squad is not my main team, or even a team for which I try to win. There is a reason why it took so long to promote them to gold in the first place, in the playoffs, other teams that actually gameplanned in silver had the edge over them. Just the fact that they went 15-1 in gold says something about the quality of gold right now.

LE may be right, but it is damn near impossible to stay out of gold for long term peewee owners. They could not renew their teams and buy silver teams. If they do that then it is not so fun for novice peewee owners trying to learn in silver or copper. I personally learn more scrimming teams other than my own.

start a new team...there`s a casual regular leagues...try something new...we`ll try to get into gold next season with dude34...we made it 5-6 years ago but could not run it in gold because of lack of time...will do our best to make it and be competitive to you guys.

I get a wild hair once in a while and might game plan for two or three games. That's pretty much the extent of my cares, though.

Some people think just because you click on the scout tab and tag a player that constitutes game planning.
